Good effort from the lads, defended well at times. Was always going to be a slog and e en more so conceding early in thay fashion. At least we put up a fight unlike some of the previous games.

Their 1st - no need to talk about.

2nd - we try to clear lines and it hits a Liverpool player to fall and set up perfectly for him to hit it and no keeper in the game is saving that (but tad fortune they was it got to him).

3rd - changed formation and was pushing got caught by our lack of speed and poor defending from osborn.

Overall good effort and its all we asked for, we certainly made them work for it and could have had 2 more ourself early on.

Terrible substitution decisions again, that's 3 games in a row. Mcatee was starting to cause them all sorts of problems and BBD looked fine.
Osulas cameo was beyond awful.

Making it out as though he wants to sub them..

I agree osula isn't great yet and should be on loan further down the pyramid but we have to go with what we have and he has a bit of pace and size about him, you can u derstand why Wilder threw him on, in hopes he can get on end of a through ball or clearance and hope for something out of it.

Great effort for 75 minutes. We played with a good shape that countered the lack of possession. Substitutions showed how weak the squad is as McBurnie is very limited. Osula and Osborn are League 1 level at best and it showed.

Would love us to keep hold of BBD for next season but am sure other clubs will be interested.
