What the hell is "green army" and isn't the Bladesmad forum utterly illegible... and that's not counting the content.

It's an advert for car insurance we have running over here mate. The general story is that a Plymouth fan picks up his mates to make the trip to Newcastle and makes the point that the money he saves by insuring through who ever the company is (Norwich Union? - you can see how effective the advert is eh?) has been enough to buy a Plymouth away shirt. Ends with the main character - the driver - singing "Green Army" to a car full of his sleeping mates.

Now you know - - but why we should want to sing it to anyone (with the exception of using as a bit of banter with the Argyle fans) defeats me.

In a way I'm glad I missed the match on Saturday, and in a way I wish I'd been. At least, I wish I'd been outside the Lion to hear protest talks from the kind of thick cunt who thinks not chanting "Green Army" makes you less of a Blade. I'd have loved the opportunity to put this chap right on a few issues. Alas, I fear I have missed out on a treat.
