29,700. If capacity is around 32k that's a lot of empty seats. Looked full on TV though.

Capacity is now reduced to 31.5K….

Last season the Man Utd game was officially sold out a week before the match
That was our highest attendance last season and it was 31,543…….so about 1.7K under capacity…

Not bad really for £42 to £47 a ticket.

Also agree….the atmosphere….especially 1st half was much much better…..that’s how it should be.

I never get why the attendance is applauded when 30-31k but never on say 27-28k. Are the 28k basically clapping the other 2-3k part-timers for deciding to turn up ? 🤣

I think the club should pay more attention to controlling away fans when they score then trying to stop the odd few getting in the home end (can anyone remember any issues in the last 20 years?). Embarrassing again for Leeds’ goals - loads of them all over the place pitch side and one teenager stood on the scaffolding at the Westfield end of the lower tier for a good 3-4 minutes after their winner.

Good for about 20 minutes. Then pretty quiet. Didn't lift the players.
Leeds were almost silent until they scored. Weird really

I couldn't see 2k empty seats by a long chalk tbh and I was in the one stand that was sold out.

Sad to see so many leave early again last night. Personal choice, I know, but our team deserved our support until the end.
Understandable. Huge disappointment, no coming back from 2 behind and didn't want to be witness to the smug twats from up the road whooping it up. Even I switched off my television set and went out and did something less boring instead.

Seems to be the done thing now go behind , early exit , fully appreciate its everyone’s choice but never happened on the scale we now see ….last night it was when their 2nd went in , I’m old school and think the team deserves backing to the end , not walking out on and would rather show our unity to the team and opposition fans

I find it really sad tbh. There was a mass exodus after their 2nd goal, let alone when the 3rd did. In the past we would have roared the team back and encouraged them to push for an equaliser. Seeing everyone fucking off must be demoralising for the players. There was still a good 6 minutes left after their second. we have scored 2 goals in the last 6 minutes of matches before. It can happen.

There was a bloke near me stood up after the second and went to go out. He stopped directly in front of me and started to take in all that was going off on the pitch (game hadn't restarted). His row was clear, the aisle was clear but he still stood there directly in front of me. I said "Can you either sit down or fuck off home please, I'm gonna stay til the end and want to see it". He fucked off home.

I can understand going home when we're getting reamed 8-0 and not even in the game but we were 2-1 down against the top of the league and no matter what all the Wilder haters say, I agree with him they are the best team in the league. We went toe to toe with them for large parts of that game. We played some great stuff in the early part of it.

How have so many fans become so entitled? After the shit-show that was last season?

Last season has scarred the majority of the fans with the what we’ve to come again if we go up…. But obviously we want to go up it’s the goal at the start of the season , and just maybe we might buck the trend of been gun fodder …. Elons ghost money may set us up nicely

Atmosphere was great.

For all Leeds' bleating about how great their support is, all I heard was a meek rumbling of marching on together on about 70 minutes.

I'll admit that I left after they scored the third but there was a bloke near me saying to his lad before the second went in that they were "going to give it 5 minutes then get going". 5 minutes later it was still 1-1.

I'd normally prefer to see people stay, especially after playing fairly well for a decent part of the game, but don't blame anyone last night for leaving after the third goal.

Wilder was straight down the tunnel and our players as usual fucked about in the middle of the pitch before ambling over to their 30 family members.

As has happened too often this season, we got bored of waiting to give them a clap at the end.

No way they were thousands of empty seats from my view.
There was no more than 300/400 from my X-ray scan around the ground, excellent atmosphere and loud from the Blades, the Leeds pond life knew it was a game they could have lost by a couple, hence the silence (reyt knuckle draggers),most of them looked like they were off the’Rita,Sue and Bob too’ council estate.

I sit right down near the away end and it was surprising how few women they were in the Leeds end compared with other clubs.

Then again, unsurprising given how they carry on when they score a goal.

Lots of Leeds fans without tickets watched game in town I heard? Would make sense because they were loads dotted around town singing after game.

hopefully the teams performance will create the atmosphere.

Expect crowd trouble if Leeds go in front, I know for a fact there are Leeds fans in the upper tier.
You weren't wrong. Multiple videos showing different incidents

There could be a perfectly reasonable and acceptable reason for that in these most modern of times.

Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, elbow, elbow, say no more squire...

still think that although bllt isnt the best viewpoint away fans should be given the blut and get our fans right behind the goal

I agree. Of course, we both know that SYP are the only police force in the country who can’t cope with a stand being segregated, so it’d never happen, sadly.

Lower tier would then be a good candidate for safe standing and trying to get a bit of a singing section going.
