The "yes man" manager thing resurfaces. Without doubt one of the stupidest criticisms that can ever be thrown at a manager.Shocking. Totally flabbagastered at this situation. We have two owners who dont talk a hairman whose disappeared a yes man manager and the worse set of players i can remember. Great times to be a blade

Exactly what do you want the manager to do? Take a shotgun to the next board meeting?

It's only "!one of" the most stupid things to criticise a manager for because Barney exists to create new ones.I've asked a few times what a "yes man" manager is. Never had it explained.
You are joking. The only manager for us to make progress in this crap league is Clough.

Agree, should never have sacked him. Now we've wasted another year when we could have been ironing out the mistakes from last year and allowing Clough to build on 5th place and two semi's.
We've now got a manager that changes his formation every week, still doesn't Know his best 11 heading into March, can't defend, goals have dried up, and even when we appear to play well we lose 2-0.
Blaming this year on Clough is nonsense. He was sacked in May, he didn't even have the summer to make changes to the squad. This season's squad changes were made by the current management and board, and this seasons tactics and team selection are the current manager.
Now we need another year to "give Adkins another chance", which is what we should have been doing this year with Clough.
Sorry but there is only so much vomit inducing positivity i can take from adkins. He is a yes man as he suites the boards agenda. Those behind the scenes are done otherwise money would be available. I dont believe a word that liar mccabe says. Hes been told to keep us afloat. He will quit in summer. The "yes man" manager thing resurfaces. Sorry Vassilis, you are mistaken.Agree, should never have sacked him. Now we've wasted another year when we could have been ironing out the mistakes from last year and allowing Clough to build on 5th place and two semi's.

Who will quit, "yes man" Adkins?Sorry but there is only so much vomit inducing positivity i can take from adkins. He is a yes man as he suites the boards agenda. Sorry to disappoint a lot of you Adkins won't be sacked or resign.Who will quit, "yes man" Adkins?
Hopefully we get someone in who doesn't suit the boards agenda then - that'll really show 'em. To prove he's not a yes man does he then quit after 3 months to really push us forward?
I think that deserves "woosh" fella. The last thing I want us to do is sack another manager.Sorry to disappoint a lot of you Adkins won't be sacked or resign.
Clough was given funds he failed and single handed took this club back.
Nothing you can do but be patient when players are contracted .
Sorry but that's the way it is.
For the sake of everyone's sanity, the forum should close for an hour after every defeat.
We're still paying for the mistakes of the Clough regime. Why that's not blindingly obvious to all is beyond me.

Fair play, as a rule not giving managers time has let us down. However, there's not getting away from it - Clough signed too many players, and too many poor ones. The list of players worth keeping is tiny. Is there any part of this that you'd dispute? No we are paying for the consistently shut hiring and firing policy that has sent us spiralling down unchecked faster than an Alton Towers roller coaster.
The more worrying thing is that you'd believe those numbers!adkins has apparently spunked 8 million on hammond, sammon, woolford and billy.. 25 percent success ratio for that kind of money is unacceptable.. i heard a rumour that hammond is on 30 k per week. that is more than Swiss is on!
Was having a pop at you mukka just saying he ain't going anywhere.I think that deserves "woosh" fella. The last thing I want us to do is sack another manager.

sammon is on loan.. can't we send him back. the hammond rumour came from a very good source.. ymmvThe more worrying thing is that you'd believe those numbers!
Clough did the Sammon deal too, I'm told.
UTB
I'd accept him being on 30K per week, but no chance of us paying him that. Of course, we'll be paying well over the odds, as has been the way for a decade.sammon is on loan.. can't we send him back. the hammond rumour came from a very good source.. ymmv
