Should probably reiterate (said this on another thread) that Hammond wasn't signed just based on his playing ability. Inn 2004, United signed Barry Hayles, who Warnock had been after for some time. Two months letter the dressing room policemen Morgs, Paddy, Jags, Monty, Kozzie etc saw he was out of the club...
