If you remember the polls on here suggested the bloke in charge last season got another go at it. The fans can't be blamed in the slightest because most of us were surprised when Clough went. I don't blame Adkins because he obviously needs longer to sort it. That leaves the players, who have to take some level of responsibility because they can influence things every time the play. Then there is the board. There has to be someone, somewhere who realises we cannot keep changing managers, while selling our best players, then expect to succeed. In spite of managerial changes we have gotten worse pretty much year on year. Why is that? The players brought in are getting worse, while the players going out (Murphy, Quinn, Blackman, McGuire) are all consistently playing at a higher level. You don't even have to be a student of the game of football to realise if you replace good players/employees with worse ones, you will generally go backwards.
