Phew.

Closer than it should have been.

Great first half. Seriki excellent+ MoM for me.

We need a reserve keeper asap. Copper is having a poor season and he was very poor tonight. With rubber wrists Davies in reserve, no matter how bad Cooper is, he has to be the first choice

Given its not a great hunting ground for us, quality they have, their home record this season and pressure from Oxford winning, that is a great result & another 3 goals scored. Shakey 2nd half but we seem to be clicking.

Onward to a very hard next home game. We have to be on it minute 1-95 against a team bang in form.

Excellent week for us with a gd of +7.

Agreed Seriki is becoming our star player for me

Well done Wilder and co,3 unexpected points and moving up the table. But,game management concerns me,we were shit the other night first half until a sending off, today the 2nd half was managed poorly, both by the players and management, again the opposition manager tweaks the game and we go back looking like a league 1 side. Stop defending deeper when the opposition gets a little encouragement.

I suspect Cooper is carrying an injury and they don't have confidence in Davies.

Cooper is a worry and we need to sign a competent no 2 in Jan..
However he was fouled on their first, and Bamford was fouled just before their second in my view..
Their Soumare needed someone to go 1 for 1 and stop him dictating.
Anyway, 3 win spin. Should boost confidence.

as great as we were in 1st half. were awful in the 2nd. i know Leicester had to chuck kitchen sink at us as they had nothing to lose.

but i dont know whether its fatigue or complemency as it has been a tiring week 3 games in a week. as we were nowhere in that 2nd half. all the attacking intent went along with the intensity

He is,cat flap handitis ! He was a great keeper last season, but he is regressing,Deano got better with us after a few bollocks dropped but Cooper isn’t building on last season. He’s still a young kid but his form and shot saving is worrying.

Absolutely brilliant, fantastic result. Tense second half, but nine points in six days, you can't ask for more.

There's so much more for this team to give. We didn't have an outlet in the second half but our defenders weathered the storm, they stood firm.

We're seeing a team who's definitely turning a corner.

Both goals today a schoolboy keeper would have been disappointed with.

FT Leicester 2 Blades 3

Definitely a game of 2 halves.

1st half was our best half of the season.
Leicester played slow sideways passing tippy tappy possession football with zero intent to try and score…..reminded me of us under Selles.
Where as we were direct and always dangerous…3-0 at half time and could have been more.
The 1st half reminded me of the Sheff Wed match….if anything it was too easy, it looked like Leicester weren’t even trying.

2nd half…..as expected Leicester upped their effort levels (couldn’t be worse).
But the story of the 2nd half was the 2 goalkeeper errors by Cooper…who looks possibly injured and low on comfidence.

Their 1st goal was a swerving cross which Cooper decided to leave to let it go out of play…but their player ghosted in on the back post heading into an empty net.
Their 2nd goal was even worse….great shot from outside the box hit with power but it was hit towards the centre of goal straight at Cooper,
Cooper just needed to stand still but like Grzbic of old, he dived out of the way…as though Cooper had had a bet of Leicester scoring 2 goals.

We were great and free flowing 1st half against a Leicester side low on confidence showing zero desire.
But 2nd half we did our usual trick of defending a lead by parking the bus with 1 up front and much of the game was played in our half.
Nerve racking to watch but we held out and altho they had loads of attacks we defended well with Cooper having little to do.

Positives
Peck scored a great goal…quite similiar to Michael Browns volley against Wednesday,
Gyro looks calm and composed in midfield and seems to be getting a nice understanding with Peck.
Mee again played well in central defence…again developing a strong partnership with Tananga.
At last Cannon now looks a player…he wasn’t great but you can see signs of why he’s rated….he’s now running around and wanting the ball.
Daft as it sounds our 2nd half struggles ensures we won’t be complacent…when in a commanding position we need to see the game out.
Another much needed 3 points takes us away from the relegation zone.

Negatives
When we’re under pressure parking the bus….we keep inviting pressure.,
Wilder really needs to address this…..why can’t we just take the sting out of the game regaining a bit of control, with some aimless possession football?

Points and the win is all that matters, but the second half changed it from a brilliant win to just a win,may have been a tiredness factor involved but we never seem to learn lessons, the second goal was almost a rerun of the Sunderland winner,a poor forward giveaway and no challenge on their player as he strides forward and finds the same shot but higher, you put the challenge on this guy and stop the shot getting away,Cooper is then not in the equation, Burrows poor in the second half, leg waved at the cross, the crosses coming in caused many problems, plus they were sliding through passes down the sides of the CB's and getting runners on the end of them in the area without us getting the necessary blocks in before those passes got away

You don't see too much self criticism on here so I doff my hat to you sir😊.

I've been critical on here too but come on West Yorks, when was the last time you saw us score 3 goals in 3 consecutive games🤔,and bag 9 points.

Enjoy mate😇.Dem Blayards is great to watch again🤩👍
Made up with our form of late don’t get me wrong. Honestly I was convinced we were seeing Villa away all over again here

Delighted we could see it out this time

Given the week we’ve had I’ll take that. Attack looks more fluent, midfield solid and defence untroubled (until they were lol). We look a but tired as Wilder seems to have narrowed us down to a squad of 18 or so players but that’s fine and should be rectified in January.

What is it about people like you. Anybody criticising him is a hater? No he has obvious flaws as anyone will tell you and he doesn’t seem to learn. But legitimate criticism isn’t hate.
Hanging on for our 3rd win in a row and they cant wait to get on here and slate him.

Doesn't seem to learn. Weird that he's been really successful for years then isnt it? What is it about people like you that you wanna slag the manager as soon as we hit a rough spell in a game? 🤡

Where’s my slagging?

If I'm honest mate,when their first went in I thought,here we go🫣
Tempted to say it's in our DNA,but they are the moments we must choose to keep the faith.
That's the toughest challenge of all being a Blade👍
Our fans sounded awesome more or less throughout.
Beer o'clock can never arrive too soon😁
🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🙏
