In the circumstances Anything from the next 3 games (especially the 2 very tough away games back to back) will be an achievement.. the club and players have been through the emotional wringer the last week or so

Personally I feel like I am just marking time until the Stoke game to give George a fitting farewell.. God knows how the players who knew him like a brother are feeling.

Would take 2 points from our next two games.

Unfortunately tbink it will be our first defeat of the season tomorrow.

Probably his biggest game yet,,,,,,,18 months ago he was in and out of the National League and League One.

He has been to Elland Road before in the FA Cup game with Plymouth ended 1-1 with just 1 booking......Michael Cooper missed that game.

Last season he got two Prem Games.

He also reffed the Championships league winners first game of this season.

4-0 Blades.

Bogle has an absolute mare and Meslier has an error riddled night.

YHIHF 😉
I am not sure how I feel about Bogle for this match. I keep wondering if they won't play him. Feel for him as he would have been close to Furious, the flip side is, if this was just another match he would be getting grief from us and rightly so.

4-0 blades would be a dream, will take a draw but not sure if I would prefer a 1-1 all draw where we score and get that moment or we keep our clean sheet record...

I am nervous for this game.

You always predict we'll lose every match and even admitted you'd prefer us to lose so we're not promoted.

Also when ever we're losing you post every day but when we're playing well and winning
you seem to disappear from the forum....wonder why?

Normally I'd agree we would probably lose tomorrow and Leeds would be favourites
however they have a few injuries and also a few of their players were on international duty having long flight.

First goal is vital but don't think they're be quite on it....I'm expecting a 1-1with an outside chance of a 2-1 Blades win.
Think the Middlesboro game will be tougher, we could have a few players suspended and always seem to struggle there.

For those expecting same team selection and not changing a winning team, I expect a tactical change tomorrow

Think it's because Wilder has a track record of playing the same team over and over.

However think you might be right because we have 3 tough matches in a week.
Leeds away on Friday, then Middlesobro away on Saturday and finally Stoke at home on Saturday.

Middlesboro will also be really tough and we might even have a few suspensions that night. So I doubt Wilder will start his strongest 11 for 3 consecutive matches, players like Moore will be knackered and overplaying the same players could lead to avoidable injuries.

It would be wise to rotate the squad somehow and maybe leave some big names on the bench.
I'm expecting Brewster to start one of the games, with Moore rested on the bench.
Also expecting Rak Sakyi to be rested against Middlesboro and start with Brooks instead.

I really do fancy us in this one. If anything I think the players and management will be even more fired up than usual, and I can see the Leeds crowd getting a bit testy if they don't get on top of us early.

We'll have to soak it up at times, but we are very good on the break. We also don't make it easy for any team when they are in possession and Leeds like do piss about with it.

Hopefully Hamer, Moore and Souza adopt a shoot on sight policy too, just in case their keeper hasn't forgotten the last game...perish the thought.

Every shot needs to have someone following up in case Meslier spills it.. and if he does take it cleanly, just whispering in his ear about how he fucked it up last time.

Absolutely well up for this. Alarm set for 5.30am and tissues at the ready for when we score and (whoever scores) tribute paid to Baldock. I actually don't really care if we lose as long as we score... 😢

You’ve nailed it there.

Chris has a a simple team talk ' Go out there and do it for George !!!'
That makes me a bit uncomfortable because on the flip side, we lose and we somehow failed George.

I'd say honour his memory and play as he would - furious, passionate, not giving an inch. Win lose or draw, we need to know after the game that we gave everything. Showing the passion of GB for 90 minutes is a fitting tribute.

I was gonna say the same, I don't like that term, gives the impression if we lose we didn't care enough about George or didn't want it enough for him??... which obviously isn't true whatsoever.

You cannot control games of football in respect of the result but you can make sure you give it your all
As long as we leave it all out on the pitch that would be doing it for George

Leeds fan at work isn’t confident as they have key players injured and a large portion only just returned from international duty.

Head says 1-1
Heart says 0-5

We won't dominate, but I have a feeling we'll take our chances tonight.
1-2 the mighties
