One other thing, these are the team that got us up there. Let's back em, not pile in. Some comments are a little emotional.............yeah, let's stick with emotional

Got exactly what they deserved, nothing

Ooooo it's Leeds away, let's do everything we never usually do just to try to steal a point

Spineless twats, players and manager

And Vini out for MBoro.

The problem is that coaches can outthink themselves and that’s what happened…
Yes you are right but the players were poor tonight with wayward passing and poor performances all over the pitch so they must also take a lot of the blame.

Need a result against Boro. If we get embarrassed again I don't think we can expect anything other than playoffs.

He actually set them up to stop their usual style if play. It nearly worked, a goal from a set piece and one was a foul for shirt pulling.
It didn't work particularly well but we were'nt as bad as some are saying.
He reverted to type - 5 at the back, with an unfit RND playing LCB - who had a stinker. We somehow managed to stumble through to HT at 0-0.

He should’ve, but was never going to, make changes at HT. We ultimately got what we deserved. Again, not good enough.

We could all see it wasn’t working and he didn’t make any change to the formation. Lump it long to a totally ineffectual Moore? We spent the last 15 minutes passing it laterally until it went back to Cooper who lumped it. It was crying out for a different shape. It’s always been his weakness.
Do you know the difference between bottling it & getting his tactics wrong?

Whilst arguably wilder got it wrong tactically, I think a few of the players were below par. Whether that’s because of an off night or because Leeds made us look ordinary, or both I don’t know

We move on to Boro, where unfortunately there’s no vini and possibly no Hamer ☹️

The players looked like they had no confidence in whatever the game plan was and didn't buy into it, the whole thing was disjointed and riddled with errors,it was tip tap football going nowhere and giving the ball away before anything that looked like a forward move got anywhere
Leeds had it easy all game, they and everyone else knew it was a matter of time before they scored and there was zero to fear at the other end.
We looked a poor third in a two horse race,it was that bad,you can excuse the gulf in class in PL games but they were light years ahead of us tonight in every position,a game like that can be a season changer,so in a few days we will see if it changes it for the good or if the players have got the bottle, spine and character to let it be a one off

What is frustrating about that is that was a team set out not to lose. Do that, and generally you invite enough pressure onto you that the exact result you are seeking to avoid happens. Don't get me wrong, Leeds were a lot better than us and wanted it more, and I doubt that too much difference in tactics would have changed the result - that's just not the "do it for George" sort of approach I was expecting

We will be fine, yes I agree we should have had a go at them, but we didn't. maybe Wilder & co will not be so negative next game, remember it has been a very tough week for all of us, including everyone at the club, so just cut them a bit of slack and let's move on to the next game.

I'm so pissed off with that tonight. Wanted us to go out and honour George and instead Wilder has totally neshed it. No chance for the players who spent most of the game chasing it and then were knackered by the time Brewster and JRS came on, so it was a complete waste of time anyway. If it ain't broke, don't fucking fix it FFS.

Yes. Get your tactics wrong, change them = fair enough
Get your tactics wrong and do nothing to try something new in the hope that you scab a draw when you have the players on the bench to change your shape = bottling it

All down to Wilder

Leeds where facing Joint Top of the league, great defence - lightening counter attack- Wilder blew it and gave a tentative Leeds team hope and belief whilst draining us - crap management

Leeds are a good side, and no matter what system we played or tactics we used they were always going to have good spells in the game.
But to turn up there and do absolutely nothing because Wilder has put the fear of shit into the players before they've even kicked off is typical of what we see from him every time his small minded inferiority complex sets in.
