What happened to the days when it was all about number plates? Any cars with gregs88 or something?
Yep and aside from the joke I don't understand why people ask for sources or who people have heard things from.
If they were revealed there would be a lot of people losing their jobs.
I remember seeing A5ABA. No idea who's that was...
And just to think, Morgan begged Clough to sign him. £200k I think it was
If any of the above does happen and Clarke is deemed surplus to requirements and shipped out, will Wilder and Knill get any abuse on here, should never have brought him in, , such as waste of a place, far too much money, 3 1/2 year contract etc etc, because if clough or adkins were still here the amount of stick would have gone on for around a week, the answer is, of course they wont because Wilder has too much support. However it would be a (slight) black mark dont you think? or would it be he's a good manager and realised his mistake and acted even if it has cost us?
Because we are losing £5m a year? What a signing this would be. As discussed above his contract has a £1m release clause so I don't know why people are bleating on about fees of over £1m? Assuming said rumours are correct of course.
We also got around £2m for DCL and Che combined, so why wouldn't we spend that amount?
Regardless, incoming transfer fees should only be used to reinforce a squad following player departure.Because we are losing £5m a year?
How do you keep the club afloat if it's outgoings are more than its incomings?Regardless, incoming transfer fees should only be used to reinforce a squad following player departure.
I'd imagine the bloke who put us here with his mistakes would keep paying for said mistakes, cheers Kev.How do you keep the club afloat if it's outgoings are more than its incomings?

Anyone think with the loss of Winnall, Dingles might be in for Gregory?
They have a shit load of cash in the bank, with a few more million expected in shortly as they reckon Bree is also on his way out
They could easily outbid us and guarantee Championship footy
I see your point but in that case why didn't they simply tie Winnall down (and Hourihaine for that matter) on new deals with higher wages? Seems to me like they may be reluctant to spend too much on a player. Their model appears (mainly) to be buying bargains and hidden gems then developing them. Bogle on the other hand would be right up their street.

Allegedly Winnall was on £4,500 a week at Dingles now a rumoured £18,000 a week.If that is true there's no way him or Houriane will stay there.I see your point but in that case why didn't they simply tie Winnall down (and Hourihaine for that matter) on new deals with higher wages? They tried some time back but Gregory wouldn't sign a new contract
Dingles reckon there's up to £13m in the bank with a few million more due when Bree leaves. They are in a strong position to go out and replace Winnall and I would expect Gregory to definately be on their short list
Apparently the Pigs are paying Winnall £18,000 per week, four times his Barnsley wage; I doubt they would have offered him improved terms of that magnitude!?

Money talks.
Yeah ok
For me, it's about success rate. How many of CW's have failed in comparison to the other two?If any of the above does happen and Clarke is deemed surplus to requirements and shipped out, will Wilder and Knill get any abuse on here, should never have brought him in, , such as waste of a place, far too much money, 3 1/2 year contract etc etc, because if clough or adkins were still here the amount of stick would have gone on for around a week, the answer is, of course they wont because Wilder has too much support. Agreed, all true, but my point was that they don't seem to like spending money. So if they are so rich yet aren't prepared to spend money to retain proven players why would they shell out even more for a similar player from the same league? They won't go for Gregory, he is too expensive for their policy. Bogle isn't.
When you say Bogle isn't, in what respect do you mean?
Gregory has a reported £1m release clause and then a reported £850m bid turned down from Millers for Bogle
Don't see too much difference there if those reports are true
This forum ain't big enough for the both of us.Been told by a mate of Gregory's today, that the £1 million buy out clause is only if Millwall don't get promoted this year? so I guess that if we wanted to buy him now, it would be for a lot more than £1 million - shame if true.
