I've been tonight mate, and Mcburnie DID put in a good shift. He was dragged from pillar to post by their CH's and got no protection whatsoever from the ref.
Glad to hear it, i do like the lad & think something has clicked where he knows there’s only one spot up front and he has to work hard to get in ahead of sharp. Got to build his confidence up now

Tbh I thought brewster was unlucky with his pen, he struck it very well

I always feel uneasy when a penalty taker gives it the full ministry of silly walks approach. Their goalie looked 8ft tall it was never going to end well.

11 changes pushed saints all the way and scored 2 more
Things are improving .
As they say we concentrate on the championship during this transitional season.Try and sneak a play off spots our only goal
Maybe we should stand back and have some patience,Slav knows what he's doing and it appears to be working, wait and see.

Just looked at the goals from last night. Fair play to McBurnie, that was a nice finish to make it 2-2. And neither of the missed pens were horrible misses, Forster just looked huge in the goal compared to Wes.

Forster has a good penalty record to be fair - before tonight Transfermarkt says he saved 16 out of 41 faced (39% career save rate)

Given that penalties have an xG of around 0.8 that would suggest that he's twice as good as an average goalkeeper at saving penalties. He is really tall (6'7" I think) so he can cover the majority of the goal without needing to go early. Big advantage over someone like Foderingham who has to take a step to get to the corners. The two of ours who scored were Norwood who put his right in the corner and Osborn who hit it down the middle; the other two took decent but not great penalties and they were saved.

I actually think some posters actively want McBurnie and Brewster to do badly because they want to prove how much of a waste of money they were.

Embarrassing the stick they get on here.
You do realise that we don't cut any losses in that circumstance unless the players agree to a settlement, which they have no incentive to do?
I know mate I was just throwing the toys out.
