Yes and in 90 mins when it was 1-0. Could have changed game. It didnt but people just want to bash now

WTF has Brewster done to even justify a place in the U23's.

I have been patient with him but it's time to admit he's just a shocking footballer.

When was the last time we won a penalty shoot out? I genuinely can't remember and I'm starting to think our record in them is about as good as our record in play off finals.

I think it’s about time we cut our losses and rip their contracts up. What a waste of money these two have become.

You can’t rip contracts up, they need paying off.

I should go back into the original “we’re signing Brewster“ thread
So many of our fans claiming there’s no way we’d be ambitious enough to buy the new Michael Owen.
We were hoping to get him for 20 million but I remember some of our fans saying we’re being tight and we should match Liverpools 25 mill valuation
and we should pay Brewster what ever salary he wants.

Remember some Blades convinced he’d be worth 50 mil in a few years, so paying 30 million would be a good deal.

Just shows wrong many of our fans can be. However the funny thing is Brewster and McBurnie could go to other clubs and in a few years look top PL quality.
Lets not forget both these players have already proven they were star performers at CC level with Swansea.

Nope. Knew what was going to happen as soon as 90 minutes was done. I am at peace. 🤣

What's the crack with Ndiaye, off injured again? Was it like the last two or was it during a challenge? Are we starting to see why other academies weren't interested in him?
Hasn’t played much football since Leicester last year. Couple of 23’s games and now 3 senior appearances. Normally takes academy players a while to get up to match fitness to handle the intensity of senior football it will be doubly hard for ndiaye given his lack of any kind of football recently. It’ll come and if it doesn’t and he’s leaving it all out there first 75 minutes and then gassing out then so be it we have options in his position off the bench.

I actually think some posters actively want McBurnie and Brewster to do badly because they want to prove how much of a waste of money they were.

Embarrassing the stick they get on here.
It’s shocking isn’t it. Positive mentality and momentum are huge in football as we saw in the promotion seasons.
Perhaps if our fans got behind the lads their confidence and therefore performances may improve!
Got to be a better bet than waiting to slag them off every opportunity ….

So we're out of the league cup, who cares? I'd rather focus on the league personally. Winning the cup earns you nothing in comparison to promotion to the premier League.
Yes pal. Some good positives toneet. Great for Enda and McBurnie to score. Wes with a brill save and he finally saved a pen! It looks like Burke and Freeman not fancied and on their way out. Think SJ missed a (minor) trick with not picking Lopata. But no heartache from me.

not a chance that either will become a top premier league player

Didn't see the game, but listened in from about 30 mins in. We sounded okay, What'd you'd expect when playing a reserve side against a reserve premier League team. Not that fussed, main thing is we've got minutes into enda, ndiaye etc.

Lets be honest, who gives a fuck. We were never going to win the cup or anything. I thought mcburnie was quality tonight. Defensively and offensively. Unfortunately some fans don’t care because he cost £20m and he didn’t score a hatrick so he’s therefore shit. Same applied with Brewster. I didn’t think he was amazing or anything but was solid enough tonight. Once again needs to be said that he’s not playing as a striker but as a winger
