Go on then, who wants to be the first to suggest the 10% go towards the Beard coming back...

John...not Mark.

£5M with a 10% sell on?. I will suggest now that this will be undisclosed

Either that or Spurs and Swansea will cook up another deal like the one which saw Ben Davies and Michel Vorm move to Spurs in the summer for £9m. Davies (no sell on fee) was valued at £9m while Michel Vorm (40% sell on) moved for nothing.

Levy is no idiot. It's probably 10% of any profit which means we'll see nothing from this deal.

I wasn't aware of that deal. It stinks! Still being investigated by FIFA allegedly (or was in November):-

United need to make sure they don't get screwed by Spurs/Swansea too.

Right, Naughton to Cardiff, diversion on the way back from Brighton, call in and drop the 80k off for the Beard.

My memory tells me that Naughton went from us for £5m and Walker £3m. Isn't any sell-on based only on any profit Spurs make if there's a sell-on?

Hope they sell Walker soon if so!!!

This is great news, with 500k we can get out there and sign 6 new players.

Championship here we come.

I thought the sell on was profit, hence why we'd do a lot better from Walker moving than Naugts.

You must have read about Daniel Levy's transfer dealings? You will end up owing us money.

Daniel Levy , the Essex Boy , Wheeler Dealer , Cambridge University Graduate , Financier has done a great deal , with paying extra cash up front to the blades , we wavered any sell on clause percentage .

He did the deal , with us acting like us from up north , we all wear flat caps and have whippets

Levy 1 . McCabe 0.

UTB

Correct - Levy would cut a fart in two

Tom Carroll to Swansea for £10m with Naughton going as a free part of the deal....

Even if we did get anything from the deal then it probably won't become public knowledge...if it did McCabe would have to spend it

Good player but wasted his time with Tottenham.

According to the Star we get nowt "The Star understands it will only be triggered if Spurs negotiate a percentage return on their initial investment."

You'd assume it was a percentage of the downpayment as didnt we get around 5million for Naughton?

I imagine Levy has put in all types of installments to avoid paying us anything.

Think he will do well at Swansea

I think so too. Didn't really light things up at Spurs as Kyle Walker was always going to come through, then when he got injured Naughton never really managed to do it there despite getting a few games.

Swansea should be good for him. Good luck to him
