Last Thursday, my wife and I welcomed our firstborn into the world, and I'll tell you what lads, it's been a rollercoaster already. Induced in unexpected circumstances, witnessing labour for the first time and then experiencing a love so strong your heart could burst. A love only intensified by the fact that we've had a little girl and she's already the centre of my universe and she's very much a Daddy's girl. Thankfully now, we're home and Mum and baby are doing really well.
Any words of advice for the months and years ahead are truly welcome. And as for the bank holiday, what an Easter weekend it was, she currently knows United as played 2, won 2!
Oh, and she's got her outfit sorted for Saturday...

Awwww cheersCongratulations Kozzy! I've been a dad for 33 years. Being a parent and doing it right is the hardest but best job ever (although we've made some reyt cock-ups along the way!). I hope you'll be as proud of your little one as I still am of my two fantastic kids - I'm sure you will!!!!
I hope you sing Annie's Song to Annie to help her fall asleepMate I've got a 4 week old little girl (Annie) and I could have wrote exactly the same. Exact same circumstances!
Just enjoy it, there are some really tough times in the first couple of weeks but they do end and are far outweighed by the good times.
Congratulations mate, really pleased for you
By the time she is 2 she will think she is 22 and will wrap you around her little finger.

Balham Jnr (25½ months) is the same. Spent most of Easter Sunday morning telling Mrs Balham and me to "go away" when we went to get him up.Bloody hell, don’t we know it.
Fox jr isn’t 2 until next month but she’s already perfected a withering “no, daddy”.
Congratulations to all those with new arrivals![]()
I’m not sure I’d want two like you.I’ll advise you to not have 4 kids like me.
