Kop redevelopment back on?

It's different on every row on the Kop. On row PP it's absolutely fine, but one row forward on OO, there's a good 2 or 3 inches less room.

I like my view from TT. But I get envious of those who don't have to go outside for a piss, or walk ages for a beer.

Soft twat that I am.

Definately needs doing if we're serious about returning to the top flight. and if we are the time to get it done is now. Yes the team needs sorting as well, but it should be dne concurrently, not one before the other. The whole club needs a kick up the arse and this might just be the catalyst it's been waiting for.

I would also like to see them do something about the away fans area. I find it amazing that the entire stadium has been constructed without a proper away section.

Good, that Kop Stand has been piss-poor on so many levels (poor sight lines, poor leg-room, poor facilities, obstructed viewing) since the day it was opened.

The number of times I drive down East Bank Road or get the tram into town and think that (the Kop Stand) looks at best underwhelming, or more so shoddy. It should set the tone for the rest of the ground, it should be imposing and stand out on the horizon for all its fans to be proud of, it should be something along the lines "Sheffield United Football Club" this city is ours.

What if the plan is simply to extend what exists so the current seats aren't removed or leg-room improved?

Can anybody imagine they will tear the lot up and do a total re-build?

I can't.

I agree it's needs doing sooner or later.

When we were last in the PL we only gave away fans 2,990 tickets and about 10 matches were a virtual sell out with only restricted view unsold. Also bear in mind the team was struggling. Also remember against Watford we even had home fans on the away end as Watford brought so little.

An half successful SU could expect to exceed 35K against all the top teams.

Also it would look a fantastic site to have the biggest Kop (single tier stand) in British football.

Two requests please.

1. A club house like Orient's, with ale like Orient's and staff attitude like in Orient's ale club house.

2. Standing on the Kop like Dortmund's, even if its the swappable seat to terrace thing. The red and white wall of Blades anyone?

Does the Bring back standing on the The Kop campaign start here...

Solar panels will support he clubs new motto.....

Last one to leave turn the lights out!

At least there's no mention of those nasty flats McCabe had planned.
Oh yes there is if you look through the council website, this is where McCabe gets his money back, student flats and another hotel built on the land of a historical football stadium he wants shooting, hey there's no bigger Blade my arse. Come on Prince buy the cunt out or you won't have a stadium fit for the Premiership should we ever get there and any revenue from another hotel and student accommodation will be straight in his pocket rather than into the team.

Wonder why he wants another hotel next to the one that doesn't get full anyway?

Have to say, was very excited about this until seeing the plans on the council website. Can't find the student flats mentioned earlier but it looks as though rather than finally joining up the Kop and South Stand with seats, there's going to be a hotel which will be higher than the South Stand.
And another business centre will replace the Pukka Pie corner (no great loss), but again no mention of seats. Has anyone seen drawings of how it will look from the inside?

Can we get rail seats in so that we can all stand when the powers that be have some common sense to allow it?

Why fill the corners in with not seats?

Leave them be until a time where seats might be required.
