The rain in the first half was genuinely impressive, i've not seen it come down like that for ages. Then on the drive home tonight from work i've driven through a proper electrical storm.

The most bizarre thing was that when we got back home to Renishaw there hadn't been a single spot of rain!

It was weird everywhere, where I was playing football it was roasting hot and dry, a mile up the road, was a thunderstorm, absolutely bizarre!

I played in the morning (a cool 24 degrees), dropped about half a stone then got absolutely piss wet through in the afternoon! Very odd day!
