So much effort to launch a bloody kit.

Just get it announced, no need for a big do dar, we're in league one for fuck sake.
Give it a week Barney and I'm sure Wilder will have provided plenty for you to moan about. But for now, I suppose the kit launch us as good as anything.

McCabe airlines regrets to announce to all Sheffield United fans that their flight to the sunshine will be delayed for another season at least

Please don't ask for a refund

Doncaster airport!?!?!?!?

What's wrong with parachuting it onto the pitch!
Never would have happened in my day.....
I have memories of going to Selhurst Park with String back in the day and palace parachuting the ball on to the centre circle, or summat, and the parachutist landing on the roof of the stand with some force. Delayed the kick off. Think we lost

This is a rough cock up, I mean mock up of how I believe our new kit will look.....

1. The fact that the kit were playing in this template for the legends match along with the fact that we are only a small club therefore on command standards templates makes me believe that this is the home kit style.

2. The whole meet at the Flybe check in desk followed by how exeter, southampton and co's flybe logo looked on their kit when sponsored by them makes me believe the logo will be on a white background etc.

Thought Adidas were jumping ship?

Been told if Ched comes out as innocent he's coming back?

I don't think I'll be able to have a shit until the 7th, I'm that excited about seeing who our new sponsor might be.

To be fair people were literally pissing themselves with excitement at the kit manufacturer, and they turned out one of our worst ever strips. I'm sure some people are bothered about the sponsor, personally I couldn't care less!

Hallam FM! Bloody hell, not living in Sheffield I didn't realise they were still a thing. They had the rights to games when I was growing up. Was it Steve Banyard who did the commentary - and the United co commentator was the same bloke for years.

It always seemed that we lost when they sponsored a game, or maybe we just had a bad year when they were around/

Or one of our best ever, depending on your point of view....

Could be worse. The pigs have Leeds Bradford Airport as a sponsor. At least DSA is in S Yorks, and is "officially" Sheffield's airport.

People moan about how far away it is, but with the new M18 link road DSA is only 25 minutes' drive from Sheffield - pretty similar to many other cities' airports.

Hallam fm are there.
I wonder what our pals over at radio pig think about that?
Won't bother them one jot. They'll be still having there month long phone in on how massive they were at Wembley/ how badly they were robbed/ Wembley has never seen owt like us etc etc etc

Bit like Manchester airport inbetween Altrincham and Stockport and NOT in Manchester

I wouldn't want any of those logos on our shirt to be honest, why would you want Robin Hood which is linked to the city of Nottingham emblazoned across the home shirt? Flybe is in blue and Alpha Rooms we've been sponsored by before, but as long as the kit is decent that's the main thing for me.
You see this is a bug bear of mine.
Who came from Nottingham?
The fucking Sherrif, that's who.
Robin was from Loxkey.
Where's Loxley?
Sheffield.
Loxley Chase was a hunting area set up by the Normans and it stretched from Loxley down to Sherwood.
Robin wouldn't be shitting on his own doorstep. He'd be off pikeying stuff from those soft beggars down in Sherwood Forest and bringing his hoard back up to South Yorkshire for a piss up with the clergy and a bloke who was called little but was actually the great great great great great great uncle of Bob Booker. The bloke is buried in the cemetery at Hathersage. He'd been on the lash at Fox House then Chequers before he tripped and fell on his staff and broke his own fucking neck. The soft twat.

They can claim the Sherrif.

Another little known fact is that Robert Locksley, his real name not his stage name, was a distant relative of Bob Marley who wrote a song, inspired by his forebear, that Eric Clapton went on to have great success with.

Not sure I believe that last bit. :-)

Wherever he lived, Robin Hood is a stupid name for an airport.
