Given the high level debate on the other thread, I thought I'd take it up a notch and make a poll.

Don't phone, it's just for fun.

It's a no brainer.

We know what Kev would do - find a decent, caring buyer and sell up - hopefully not someone like Villa has got which is a big danger.

What will the Prince do? Does anyone actually know? Answer is NO - no one knows anything about his ultimate intensions, because he says nothing.

Just rang 0898 1889, got a message saying I had been charged £18 per second to raise funds.

I'd certainly back KM but interested to know why people are confident he'd find the right buyer.

Why can't they just sort it out the old fashioned way by having a duel?

I think most fans would be pleased with that, if it were to happen

knowing our luck, they'd probably both pull the trigger at the same time, leaving us without an owner and a pot to piss in

Seeing as we have 3 owners due to the device used by Prince to see off McCabe does the poll need a re-write;

McCabe - "Sheffield"

Prince - "UTB"

????? - "UTB 2018"

The Prince has no interest in our football team and we should question his motives. McCabe does support the team and offers stability, but will not take the club forward. The best outcome for me would be McCabe with fresh (Chinese?) investment.

I honestly don’t know who to trust , basically I don’t trust either of the cunts. I d like both of them to fuck off. One part of me thinks McCabe has been bleeding United dry with interest payments on loans and management fees, the other thinks he a true blade and only wants the best for United. The Prince I haven’t got a clue , obviously a business man but has he got United best interest a heart. I feel he has but I feel with out substantiation that he wants to but he doesn’t trust McCabe.

Me too, as it stands at the moment, I’m more concerned about where the Brooks money is residing just now....

In all honesty, we don't know, do we? We don't know enough about the issues at hand.

I can't help but feeling that their timing couldn't be worse however, let's hope they don't completely derail the best momentum we've had in years.

McCabe no brainer, its always better the devil you know. For all his mistakes he loves the club and I genuinely belive he is way mre likely to have a best interests at heart.

If he was in it for a quick buck he would have got out years ago.

It isn’t “always” better the devil you know.

“For all his mistakes” - I can’t list them here as I’ve got to work all day.

If only someone would come in and give McCabe some sort of first refusal of a buy-back if the new guy fucked up? Yeah, I know it’s radical and hardly likely to happen but then all the McCabe-ites would sleep easy knowing good old mistaken-riddled Uncle Kev could come in and rescue *ahem* the club from the hands of a tyrant/Beelzebub/the cheeky girls or whoever else is out there that can’t run a club, if it did go tits up.

Which it would, obviously, because it’s always better the devil you know. God forbid McCabe shouldn’t find the secret of eternal youth and die one day.

From the profiles of HRH when he came onboard he sounds a reight sporting fan and wants success like his interests in the USA team and recent purchase of the Belgian outfit.

Given a free hand I think HRH has big plans for the club in contrast to Kev bungling along in a market that gets financially further out of his reach.

In short HRH has plans for us. McCabe has plans for the money he will walk away with.

I voted for McCabe, only because there wasn't a 4th option for "new owner"....McCabe has made some truly awful decisions down the years, in fact I am struggling to recall many good ones and a lot of the problems we find ourselves in now are down to his consistently poor decisions....hence why we spent 6 years in the footballing wilderness of division 3 when other relegated teams have bounced back immediately with considerably lower budgets and infrastructures. Those 6 years in effect have probably put us back double that in real terms. Having said all that i do honestly believe he wants the best for the club and he has put a hell of a lot of his own money in, granted he may want most of it back but I am confident he will do all he can to stop the club falling into the wrong hands...

But, the Prince is an unknown and denagerous quantity.....he takes over and who knows where we will end up...............Europe within 5 years......probably not but you could easily imagine us playing at Don Valley within the same timescale to gates of under 10K back in League 1 or even 2.....He will definitely have plans for us Blade56 but it could go either way....

I will put my support behing McCabe in the hope that he sees the Prince off and then sells up to someone who can take the club forward..

If HRH has money he clearly doesn't think £5m plus market value of the assets is a good deal or he would have taken it when offered and by inference there's no one else waiting in the wings he could sell onto soon after for a quick profit. Have we found the only prince with no money.

He really isn’t walking away with any money. Whatever he walks away with will be a loss, whether you consider this his fault or not.

If some of you spoke about me the same as you did McCabe I would be building terraced houses all over the south stand car park and selling the freehold elsewhere

You are correct that he has been adding interest on his loans, (although not all his monney in the club is loaned and the shares don't attract any return).

Where your 'bleeding dry' is incorrect, is that the interest has just rolled up on top of the loans. We lose money so have negative cash flow and can't afford to pay him any of the interest.

He has protected his investment by adding the interest, to give him a bit of an upside if we ever got to the Premier. He could thenoffload for mega bucks, but he has hardly 'bled us dry'.
