The injury problems we have had since Hecky took charge. Hecky no longer has any excuses for them anymore.

Also, if Lowe injured himself at Derby what the fuck is he doing carrying on playing football afterwards?
 

Brewster will just get fit in time to see his contract out then sign for someone and become a star
 
Am I correct in thinking that even if we managed to pluck someone from the (albeit slim pickings) free agent market, we wouldn’t be able to include them in the squad anyway as that time would have passed ?

Bit embarrassing, would we be the first PL club to be picking over the bones of the free agents

I think if you only register 24 and have a free spot then you can add them to it but I’m just guessing, not looked into it. Anyway, what’s JLingz up to 😁

No. I'm sure all well run clubs would be doing the same. Nothing embarrassing about seeing what's available at any time. We've come up with a load of debt, paid out bills and spent what we could. I'm of the opinion we have done well and tried to back out manager with finite resources we have available. If we find another gem out of contract then bring it on.

We aren't Notts Forest and neither would I want us to be. But we've still brought in 10 players and I can see the benefits in each one of them.

i agree weasel probably as good a window as we could have hoped for but still think it would be heckys greatest achievment if he kept us up this season especially when you see the money other clubs are spending just to stay in the premier league
 
i hope im way off the mark here but i just cant see brewster scoring on a regular basis at this level but hope im wrong

Fair point re lowe, not sure on that, presumably Lowe thought it wasn't that bad.
 
I think King would be a great signing if he could be fit, but his injury problems seem to never end, which ultimately are the reason Fenerbache are letting him leave early.
 
Even if some monies are made available in Jan (I can't imagine CW would have agreed to rejoin with some assurances), would a player with a long history of injuries really be the best use of those funds?
 
About six years ago I took Josh King in Round 2 or 3 of my (fantasy) draft league. That basically means i thought he'd be one of the best performing strikers in the Prem that season.

He wasn't. Think he got injured pretty quickly.

He was for a spell the season before though tbf.
 
Is this one of the big money loans keeping us up?
 

Wouldn’t be my choice, certainly. I heard a second-hand whisper that we might be in for him in January. Source has a patchy ITK record, tbf, so could well be rubbish.
