Apparently we are after a big lump who is a handful

Free agent looking for a championship club just been on trial at Bristol City

Missed most of last year after a bad injury

Would be all over him , he was top draw for Luton in the Prem

Where would we play him though? We have 4 strikers as it is, do we need a 5th? Loan out RO maybe?

The one we should have been all over was Morris last year when we still had cash. But Selles and co. Put the money elsewhere.

Again we could have had McBurnie on a free too.

Adebayo could be good again but I worry of his injuries.

And do we have someone in One anyway?

Saw someone say it'd be a typical Wilder signing, doubt very much we'll be after him. Got about 500 strikers in squad

Never rated him, injuries, doesn’t score a lot so hope we give this a miss

Hes not that prolific, he misses a lot if easy chances and thats when hes fit. If we going down that route id rather of us gone after stewart who is the better player and just as put together with blue tack as this guy is.

Serious injury restricted him to 2 games last season, was awful the season before (he was wretched at the Lane), part of the double relegation Luton side.

Right in our wheelhouse!

exactly would have loved him at the lane and think he could have become a bit of a cult hero
We actually had a bit of money and would have been an attractive option to him too so it’s hardly pie in the sky thinking to try and have signed one of the more effective strikers in the league that you’re trying to get out of.

He is the definition of a handful and all strikers miss chances he was class in the prem

On a free its a great deal

I’d rather we’d gone for Dom Ballard who has gone from Leyton Orient to Bristol City for £5m. 23 goals last season I think - he’s another Ollie Watkins - he’ll be worth a lot of money in a couple of years. City saw the value of Ballard over Adebayo and so should we have too. Grrr.

100%.
My biggest gripe with Cannon is, he is the polar opposite to a "handful". I would even accept him being a "nuisance".

I think thats unfair on Cannon i rate Cannon

He is aways make a movement for a through ball
No, that he does. I see him. He never shirks away or hides, but he certainly isn't a handful. Unless the ball is perfect, or his run exactly on time, then the attack won't come off. He won't battle, hassle and niggle his way to a chance out of nothing.

He's had no pre season so I think lf this was gonna happy it would have by now

Would much rather take a swing on someone like Pepple who’s on the upswing of their career than trying to to rejuvenate a player on the decline especially given we have sold assets this summer we should be looking at bringing in players with potential to develop further and with resale potential
