Isn't that at League 1 sort of level though?
Not at all sure the quality of their second tier.Isn't that at League 1 sort of level though?
Luke Thomas has 69 appearances in the premier leagueConfused with the some of the writing off here, lads got 50 premier league and 60 Bundesliga appearances. That’s more top flight appearances than our entire back 4 combined.
Is he an attacking based full back or at least someone capable of a decent cross? I know very little about him to be honest and at first thought we were trying to sign Jonjoe Shelvey! He probably is the sort of right back Wilder would sign.
Some on here were linking/suggesting him before he signed for Hertha.
Got to have him just for the last bit of his name, my fellow MurkinsDerry-John Murkin

YepIsn’t that a pubic wig.
Love stuff like thisI’ve complied a report for those who seemed underwhelmed or unaware of who he is.
JJK has consistently played for large clubs, Everton, Celtic, Schalke and Hertha Berlin and is regarded as a solid defensive FB who is capable of making creative decisions on the pitch whilst having the ability to deliver accurate crosses into opposition boxes.
Because of this he is the leading defender for shot chance creation per 90 (3.15) in the Hertha Berlin side who sit 12th in Bundesliga 2. He out performs our own Harrison burrows (2.85) and other leading FBs - Burnley’s Bashir Humphreys (1.49), Leeds Uniteds Junior Firpo (2.88) and Sunderland’s Trai Hume (2.55) all teams from the top of their respective division.
He is composed when in possession of the ball, and outperforms our current FBs with a successful pass completion percentage of 83%. Alfie Gilchrist 80% and Harrison Burrows 73%. Other FBs also fall below the standard he is currently setting Junior Firpo 82% and Trai Hume 79% he is slightly outperformed by Burnley’s Humphreys 85%.
Regarding his attacking instincts I suppose much of it will come from tactical positioning and considerations, but looking at his ability to receive progressive passes he has much more to his game in comparison with Alfie Gilchrist, what’s important to note is that we are currently very one sided, Alfie Gilchrist as been in a position to receive these types of passes only 50 times all season whereas Harrison Burrows stands at 124. JJK is much more comfortable running beyond and behind (90) and this would add significant balance to the team.
Tackles. Sheffield United’s tackle success rate is 62.7%. JJKs would contribute positively to the team statistic with a success rate of 65%, he is the leading tackle winner for his current side. However, he is outperformed by Harrison Burrows 70% who is an absolute monster only Coventry’s Van Ewijk 72% has a better tackle success rate at FB. This would put JJK firmly in the Top 10 best tackling FBs currently in the championship.
Speed, JJKs top speed has been recorded at 33.22Km. The average speed of a championship footballer falls between 30km/h and 35km/h. This would place him within a very competitive range for right-backs in the EFL Championship.
Overall, JJK versatility, experience, and all round skill set would provide an upgrade to any team looking for a reliable full-back that is strong in both attacking and defensive areas of the pitch, he would also add much needed balance to our team.
About right for us then.Had a look at a Twitter thread on him which contained a load of stats.
He's a good crosser of the ball and decent passer. But doesn't attempt to take a man on.
Big seller in Brazil.
That's brilliant that mate. Appreciate the effort.I’ve complied a report for those who seemed underwhelmed or unaware of who he is.

No muff.Soya /Coffee beans one would presume ?
Perhaps seriki injury is worse than we thoughtUnless something is going on we don’t know about it doesn’t make much sense why we are after a right back. We would be better off getting 2 centre backs
