Better to get who we want in August rather than someone inferior in July

We also have Souza, Davies, Brooks, Slimane, Shackleton, and Peck who play midfield. I'm not arguing the quality couldn't be improved, but we've got numbers and that's not a bad set of backups for the championship.

If we don't sell anyone I reckon we need two new signings and a few of loans. If we sell the likes of Souza, Anel, and Bogle they'll also need replacing.

The only times I’ve seen Worrall play is against us and I’ve never noticed him that much (probably a good thing being a defender) but is he actually decent? A bit like Egan maybe?

A leader, fairly steady but slow - he'd need someone with pace and mobility next to him if CW intends to go 4-2-3-1 next season

Not sure I agree with you Snowflake. We need a couple of leaders. Something Wilder alluded to last season. There was a distinct lack of backbone. Half the players dropped their heads with no fight and it showed.

I think a Worrall no nonsense type would be one and one or two others still required to change the culture of the team from a bunch of losers into potential winners

No need to replace the keeper. With a decent defence and attacking policy an average keeper is fine in this league.

If you’re going on the fact he’s had a career as a keeper to justify that he’s not as bad as made out then even United history will tell you that is incorrect.
