As much as I struggle to even understand that paragraph, it seems to only explain what future secured assets are.

That’s an extract from the charge against the future revenue from the PL. It covers this years and next years parachute money.

There’s nothing wrong with it per se, just stating that it’s happened. It’s another case of ‘kicking the can down the road’ and you’d hope that we’ve set aside the money sensibly and are using it throughout the next 2 seasons to meet cash flow requirements rather than a coke and strippers binge in Vegas for Bettis and Abdullah!

We’ve also done the same against the remaining Ndiaye money from Marseille, around €14m from memory.

Yes, there’s a charge against the Ndiaye money as well.

What makes you think it’s not the full amount of parachute payments? It just reads like we’ve borrowed against the whole amount although no specific amounts are mentioned.

There is limited evidence that it is imminent nor that anything is being held up.
If we were discussing multi million pound transfer any possible new owner would want a say, but we are not in that sphere of operations !!

Don’t see McKenna really linked with anyone.

Get him and Worrall for about 3.5m then you can also sell Trusty to someone for maybe that 3.5m plus Anel for 10m+ and you have a decent top six Championship defence with Robbo and you’re 10m+ to the good.

Throw McNair into the mix too and whilst you might feel you still need more, you can still call on Norrington-Davies, Souza or Curtis to fill for injuries not to mention the option of a back four’ notwithstanding Souza may be off also, which generates funds too.

I do think you can overthink these things. You’ve already built up an immediate rapport to your team as well if they arrive.

Same with last season. We should have just got Akpom and Archer together. We had the chance clearly.
