Whilst I agree with the midfield for away from home fixtures, I can't help but think that Sharp should be dropped for games against the top teams in the division. The weekend showed that if we're attacking infrequently, he offers very little both with and without the ball.

True, but at the minute he looks our only likely scorer. Clarke had a couple of chances at Boro, the one in the first half where he took half an hour to set himself would have been hit first time at the end of last year and whipped straight into the bottom corner. We are going to struggle to score goals at this level as it stands, as some of us have said for some time.

True, but Clark was in that position by holding is run, was a great pickout from Freeman too. We can say Clarke should have scored, or at least worked the keeper, but at least he had the ball, chased and harried.

Billy rarely touched it as was pointed out...and without the ball he let Clarke do all the harrying.
 
Blades trying to convince Joe Ledley that we're his best option despite not offering the wages he wants.

 



Still without a club, also Rickie Lambert & Toure after being released by Celtic.

Not sure they are 'Hungry Wilder players' though.

Ledley is a level up though, especially for our favourite price of zero!
