We're in for a striker whether either of them come or not. It may not happen but it's a centre-forward type, not quick and tricky like these two, Quina is clearly a midfielder, anyway.
 
'We're in for a striker' as in we'll give you 10 bob and a bag of buttons for him or as in we"be made a serious year 2017 bid for one ?
 
Jim white has told me this morning that the deal has broken down 3 times in the last 2 weeks but we still hope to get this one over the line

Was there any mention as to why? It seems odd for a loan signing.
 
Swansea moving for Norwich striker can subsequently see Sinclair being off to them seeing as though we appear to have signed the West Ham player
 
We wouldn't Be after both Cole and Sinclair I expect. So I suspect Sinclair is off to Norwich and we are going for cole as an alternative.

Right age and quick. Seems to have found his scoring boots this season as well.
 
Just been seen on Sky, leaving Watford with his boots in a black bin bag. Read nothing into this...
 
Strange this one. Not gonna get a sniff at Watford so would have thought he will end up somewhere

Well according to the mini blog of the day with Wilder, he only came up on the day and made it as far as the station before departing back to Watford.
 
Apparently he was sat having a coffee in the station, he told the guy on the counter he was waiting for someone before he headed to utd to sign, was looking forward to spending the season up here etc, he was waiting, then his phone went, apparently he didn't look happy n he got up and left? Poor lad.

Just a shame for the lad and probably us as well, he was up over the bank holiday weekend had a few shandys was clearly enjoying himself accompanied by another player but would appear his agent scuppered the move he wanted, the fact he was heading up to sign in the day suggests he did want to move
