12 goals in 47 PL appearances and there's talk of him being a £100m player. Hasn't scored in his last 23 appearances and he's now injured.
CF's at that age aren't going to be consistently successful (there's a few outliers but they are almost all superstars (Owen, Fowler, Rooney etc)
I saw Kyle Walker in one of his early 1st team games (think it was a night game at Leyton Orient)I always thought DCL was poor in the U21s.
Mind you I thought Woody was rubbish when he first played for us.
Does this qualify me for a post in our new recruitment team?
Credit: Steven Wright72 hours. He didn't say they were all in a row.
Bit negative there aren't you Beans!Hopefully we don't get to find out, but if he does leave this summer then I'd be very confident in predicting that Jebbison kicks a ball in the Premier League before United next do.

Surely that team could be us !!More that I think he’d get picked up very quickly by a team either in the Prem (Ipswich, for example) or one likely to be on their way there soon!
I agree there 10p! What it tells you is! What we as fans see in young inexperienced players doesn't always give the trueI always thought DCL was poor in the U21s.

picture of the real potential of young players. All the players you mention have gone on to have great careers.
Seen them like you and the one who stands out most from his early days is Woody! had all the tools which were clear to see ! just didn't like the rough treatment given out by defenders in those days.
Suddenly he changed and was a revelation (like he had been fed on raw meat)
found the appetite to compete and became a great all time great.
What is seen in training sometimes just needs patience and the player developes.
What a player Woody was 2 footed which is rare in wingers.
