CONFIRMED Jebbison loaned to Burton Albion

JFH has got Burton flying after going in late last season and pulling off the impossible to avoid relegation. Good manager, international centre forward in an environment where the expectations will be lower than Sunderland. Possible for Jebbison to still live in area and travel to Burton. Would be a sensible move for all concerned but Burton as with Sunderland won't be able to afford a £1 million loan fee.

I still feel we should look closely at Jebbison over the next few weeks as he offers something we don't have. We need to be putting the ball in the onion bag on a regular basis before we let him out on loan.

If he goes to Beerschot I would expect them to have to pay a hefty loan fee. United World Clubs are separate financial entities so Beerschot should be treated the same as any other club. We can't be robbing Peter to pay Paul. SUFC need the money.

HRH is already channelling our money to Belgium. I read it on here with some other nonsense from the same poster.

No, how can that be? C'mon, I mean we're talking about pristine, kosher business practice aren't we? You'd think some lover of 'Dummies For Accountants' made this up, and I can't square that with the intellectual capabilities of some of our supporters? C'mon ST, stop pulling the other one, nobody could be that dense, could they??

You can make accounts say owt. I know, l ran my own business……….

In our current guise we aren’t the place to develop as a striker, we won’t create chances and would only be suitable for a target man with our long ball style.

A loan to get him off this sinking ship is probably the best bet.

I wonder why the hierarchy is pushing for Beerschot.

You'd think somewhere like Sunderland might pay a decent loan fee. 1m, as reported, is excessive, but maybe half that. It would cover a fair chunk of the fee we put out there for Davies.

Unless of course they see this as a means overall of not having to lay a larger fee as part of the Beerschot recruitment. But then it's getting murky. Sheffield United not getting a loan fee so Beerschot don't have to pay for someone.

Tough one though I suppose you could argue left pocket right pocket.

Also if Slav is to play 4-3-3 with 2 wingers then not much space for our 8 striking options.

Jebbison being chased by 3 PL clubs interested in perm signing according to Sky sports tonight. One team is Everton. I fucking despair if we are seriously thinking about selling him

Not good enough to get on the bench despite having a bunch of strikers who can't hit a cows arse with a banjo. But good enough for a number of premiership sides to buy.

I realise they could develop him at their own speed and are buying potential...and I know, I know the manager sees him training every day but he must be worth a chance....even if only in a cup game.

Oh and if Everton come in for him he's 30m plus add ons to compensate us for them having our pants down on DCL !

Fuck off £5m you scouse twats. Paid more than that for Lookman and he’d not had a sniff of PL football.

It might be wise to give Jebbo a place on the bench. If he doesn’t get first team football then he’ll soon wonder why he’s playing for our u-23s when he could be earning four times as much playing for a PL’s club’s u23s. They’ll probably loan him to a championship club anyway.

That’s what happens when you play kids in the first team, they get taste for it and every other fucking club gets to see exactly how good they are. (And no, that’s not hindsight, I said it last season).

Leeds watching closely, as Everton see £5m striker bid rejected.

United officials were quick to turn down the approach. Everton are though set to return with an improved bid.

However, TEAMtalk can also reveal the likes of Leeds, Aston Villa and Brentford also have an interest in the highly-rated forward.

They can all fuck off especially Business Model FC.

Good that we are rejecting bids but we have only scored 1 goal and he provides an option we don't have. Should be given his chance against Luton to see what he can do. I don't buy into the view he has to go out on loan to lower league football. He scores goals is 6 foot 5, good on the ground and in the air. Yes there are rough edges but his enthusiasm will compensate for that. Needs must we have to provide more of a threat up front. Play him in the championship and his value will soar.

Typical Blades selling a great prospect.... why don't we just get him in the 1st team squad and let us reep the benefits

If Slav is dead set on playing 433, 4231 or 343 and he gets the wingers he wants then it only leaves the loan role up front and the only 2 strikers we have capable of playing that IMHO are McB and Jebbo so to sell, especially for a low fee, would be crazy.

I don’t think we’d sell for a low fee going by the rammers and berge negotiations but would we sell for the right price yep. Would we reinvest that money 🤷🏻‍♂️

IMO we will not invest the money… smells suspicious to me.. fire sale… then sell the club

I don’t know enough to be confident in drawing a conclusion as to what the plan is. We do appear to be very disorganised though I agree with that

I’ve been burnt too many times before with this…
