He'll be out of contract next summer, I doubt he'd cost that much.
I think we will strike early like we did with Samir ,contact with clubs and agents will be on going now,Wilder will not bust the wage structure it's against his and Knills policy, yes it will be Increased but not at the expense of creating a two tear wage structure. No big time Charlies :.
Never mind the play offs we have a good chance of automatic if we get it right.
This season is a free hit and no pressure until it becomes a reality ,the club knows this and will for sure not let it pass without good go,.I'me sure Wilder will demand this.
We are playing the best football since the early seventies,we let it all drift away then
I don't beleave the club this time will allow that to happen not while Wilder is here as there is no doubt he is a winner and intends to take his club all the way.
And not spending a fortune doing it exciting times blades under Wilder.

I could see us having another go for Leonard. Beyond that, it`s difficult to see where CW might want to make additions if we maintain our present form, and departures would most likely happen if he does recruit.

Anyone else considered that the new deals offered to those already at the club will, in part, allow for higher wages to be offered to anyone incoming? I don't think it unreasonable to assume that along with a contract extension, Brooks for example, will also have increased his per month take home. If this is the case across those offered new deals, then the idea of incoming 'player X's' wages breaking the 'wage structure' is, presumably less of an issue now?

How’s about Billy Bodin at Brizzle Rovers

25 and just shy of 6 ft. 33 in 86 for them played under Wilder at Northampton very briefly.

Out of contract at the end of the season and current on a 1/2 run so far this season.. be available for peanuts in Jan should no one else be sniffing

You really think he'd improve the current squad? I reckon he'd be 5th or 6th choice striker if he joined

To be honest when it comes to recruitment at the Lane I no longer have a clue. Enda Stevens is statistically best left back in the league isn't he? We knew he would be good same with Baldock but the way they are playing is beyond all our hopes. Wilder seems to have a gift of turning Renford Rejects into Galacticos. So I honestly don't know. he also seems keen to take from below us and pick up players with a point to prove.

I do think he will be given an open Cheque book come Jan, and by open I mean the board won't say no to any of his requests, because everyone knows if he had unlimited funds he would still only go out and spend a fraction.

I don't know a great deal about Bodin, just seen his stats and his build and he looks like an alternative to Clarke should he get injured. Hanson will be on his way in Jan, and Id expect Lavery maybe too if not on loan.

Mate, I suspect you are similar age to me as your comments always make me smile (when they are suppose to be funny obviously not if you are making a serious point!!)

Cheers mate :)

48 in a few weeks, in a prolonged mid life crisis wondering where all the time went, and why I didn't do something productive with it!

One to watch Satdi...Jared Bowen at ‘Ull. Seems to be having a very good season in a pretty average side.

.

Think you will find that the "Renford rejects" were all player of the year at their respective clubs before Wilder signed them.
Not so much a point to prove as a sign that they were ready to step up to a better team/league.

I will start with Shane Long ,Ive heard today

I heard the same yesterday. I thought he was much older than he is. He's 30. Contracted to Southampton til 2020, but not exactly done owt there for a couple of seasons
