Just stumbled across this tweet from the Blades legend. Once a Blade.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en data-scribe-reduced-action-queue="><p>Tottenham! Welcome to Bramall Lane! Where your Wembley-dream will end...&#10;<a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/sufc?src=hash">#sufc</a></p>&mdash; Jan Aage Fjortoft (@JanAageFjortoft) <a href="">January 21, 2015</a></blockquote>

Always a big fan of Jan, even if he was only with us for a short time. I think he caught my imagination at the perfect age.

Just read that his son, Markus, a defender, has signed for the MLS club The Seattle Sounders. Interesting that he's a defender rather than a striker. From looking at him he's clearly Jan's son.

I'll get BM to take a look at him, They are his second team now,

One of his work colleagues is a big Tottenham fan and works for the Norwegian press he was over for the north London derby a few years back and decided to take in a game at the lane and joined us for a few beers
Kurt didn't mind getting the rounds in as he was paying £9 for a Guinness in Norway !

A match winner on his day, a brilliant finisher. Same he didn't turn up at Wembley at the playoff final, like a few others!
