The same guy claims Luton have agreed to take mcgoldrick on loan for the season, needless to say the sooner the teacher rounds up all his pupils and keeps them in school the better. Mind it could be a teacher finding some thing to do when not refusing to work, sing the red flag and drinking socialist champagne

On loan you say?

Pity you forgot to mention right wing Tim the owner of Weatherspoons who is refusing to sell French champagne in his pubs. Two problems with that Tim, who the fuck would drink champagne in Watherspoons and who would go in anyway unless suffering from depression.

i bumped into an old mate last week, asked him what he was upto 'I work with the homeless, drunks, drug addicts and down & outs', charity I said, 'no, Im a bar man at Weatherspoons' he replied.

32 years old, scored 10 goals last season, 5 of them were penalties (something we don’t get many of) he missed 11 games due to injury. Not for me. We are looking at a totally different age bracket in my eyes

On a one-year loan deal I'd take him. He seems a good character, a leader, he'd definitely give us an outlet at the top of the field.
So long as we're realistic with our expectations and use him correctly then I think he could make a cracking addition.
Would hope for someone with a bit more pace to come in too though.

I listened to his interview with Louis Theroux during lockdown and it warmed me to him a lot more. From rough beginnings and not without flaws, but a good head on his shoulders now.

Unless we get rid of both Robinson and Moose then it will only be 1 striker. So if you get Deeney that’s your only striker this summer, not interested.

I’ll admit I haven’t listened to that interview, but I recall a piece on him on Football Focus maybe at the start of last season where he said he doesn’t socialise with any of the Watford team outside of training/matchday. I found that very surprising for a club captain, and not exactly ideal for building a good team spirit.

I think Callum Robinson will go.
You're then only left with McGoldrick, Sharp & McBurnie that can play 90 minutes.
McGoldrick & Sharp are approaching mid-30s now. McGoldrick missed some games through injury last season.
I think you can justify bringing 2 more in.

It's a WUM account.

Look at the spelling of the name "telagraph".

The real John Percy is generally spot on and has a blue tick next to his name and it's spelt correctly!

Is a Weatherspoons one of those places you have to wear old-fashioned golf shoes to be able to walk about without sticking to the floor?

Carpet to soak up the piss from the jobless alcoholics who can’t manage the sixteen flights of stairs to the toilets.

There’s a lot of pretentious arrogant twats on here who post shit about Wetherspoons without being able to spell it.

Spoons sell good beer and decent food at a price normal folk can afford. The evidence for this is the fact that they have been opening new boozers across the country while others have closed in their thousands.

Find me a nicer place than Francis Newton to have a good beer and a meal looking over a nice garden before a stroll downhill to the Lane.

Find me a better place than Sheaf Island for a cheap couple of Jaipurs in a pub full of singing Blades before a Sheffield derby.

If you don’t like it don’t go - but don’t talk down to those who enjoy it. Plenty of our first team been seen having a good time in Sheaf Island.

Love a good Spoons me - but also love slagging them off for attracting some real down and outers (as well as a lot of normal folk as you say - not going to say which category I fall into) it’s all part of the charm.

But then again I’m a hypocrite.

Agree with a lot of what you've said. I personally visit spoons (sheaf island) for a cheap breakfast and a good few pints before the 2 minute stroll to the lane, can't fault it at all.

I think a lot of people have an image of somewhere like bankers draft when they think about a spoons, definitely one to avoid (Think it's more to do with the area it's in).
Not uncommon to have junkies/shoplifters popping in to try and get some dosh for their next fix.
