Wilder had a few players that he moved on after not very long when he managed us in the championship before: Lee Evans … Ryan Leonard … Ricky Holmes ..:
They seemed to be moved on pretty quickly after making little to no impact.
I wonder if Shackleton will go the same way.
Probably will, then replaced by somebody with identical fitness issues😊

Making no impact or falling out with the manager? Holmes was a good player who was barely given a chance.

Wasn't he suffering with a back injury? If you look at his career after us I don't think he's one that got away while we went up and up...

He was also an indication of Wilder's relentless stubborness when it comes to recruitment. "I tried to sign him five years ago. Now that he's older, past his best and suffers with injuries I can say that I finally got my man."

Would anyone be surprised to see Wilder try to sign John Swift this summer?

Ricky Holmes, Samir Carruthers and Ryan Leonard. Early warning signs that whilst Wilder can get it really right, he can also get it wrong. Really, really wrong.

I doubt there's a manager alive who gets them all right. City paid 100 million for Grealish and that hasn't worked out as fully hoped for both parties he's on his way out now. Pep out!
