Scougall may have something to say on the matter.

This one ranks high in the “worst decision ever given” league table.

Im sure the dog gave it, but the referee overruled it.😂😂😂

One of the worst decisions I have ever seen 🙄

They are saying that a decision that follows the letter of the law is one of the worst decisions he has ever seen 🙄

I mean fucking seriously, they love to pick and choose what to be angry at, VAR wasn't at fault, it worked like it fucking should do, THE RULE IS THE PROBLEM.

I agree with Wilder if that happens to us we would be annoyed, but at least be annoyed at the right thing, expecting the VAR to use common sense today, defending them at Villa not long ago 😂

Fuck em all UTB

I totally get Redknapp's sentiment there. Common sense should prevail, and it should. It should prevail by removing the silly rule from the rulebook next season.

Unfortunately the bit I don't agree on with Redknapp is that common sense doesn't trump a written rule.

Correct decision based on the current nonsensical rule.

The goal at Villa however, that's just inept from all involved.

Still ridiculous that he thinks a decision given correctly due to the laws of the game is worse than the refusal to give a goal that they could clearly see was over the line.

Guarantee the media will talk more about this over the next few days than our goal at Villa.

In fairness to Redknapp he has been a constant ally of ours this season. I think his Spurs bias and love of Jose came out a little last night.

Don't understand the problem. If it hadn't hit his arm the ball would have been cleared and not gone to Kane to score. If he'd been stood up and it hit is arm it would have been a foul. Same thing if he is on the floor.

They mentioned it briefly on MotD.
Apparently because of the score at the time, it wasn't a big deal
It will be if villa stay up by a point and we miss out on Europe by two or less

It could change the game forever

I had less of a problem with Redknapp than the general condescending and patronising manner of the commentary all the way through.
Ahh bless them look at Dheff Utd don’t they try hard?
they’re having a lovely time.
Wont be popular for saying this due to his Wednesday connection but I thought the commentary from Hinchcliffe was pretty good last night. Far, far better than Gary Neville last week against Man U. His was a 90 minute Man U love in, really disgracefully biased I thought.
