CONFIRMED James McAtee - MGW Replacement?

If we want to do what Forest did how about signing the catalyst behind Forest doing what Forest did.......
 

The lad certainly looks quality, it gives us lots of options in midfield but sometimes having too many options can be as bad as having none because its about getting a balanced blend of attacking and defensive, where does this and Doyle's signature leave berge because imo berge isnt a defensive midfielder, he cant tackle at all, where does it leave ndiaye, I suppose he could play as a second striker, but that's not really his game. hopefully Flecks appearances will be fewer, but apart from Osborne who can play a defensive midfielder, And if we play both doyle and mcatee then we may need 2 defensive midfielders and play a back 4
 
Well played United. I like the comment that Hecky’s pitch to him and development of MGW won him over. Let’s go proper gung ho at teams!

Spoken liked one who knows their stuff. You think Doyle, Khadra, Anel and McAtee are all cut and paste jobs?
 
I just wonder how on earth we'll fit Ndiaye, Khadra and McAtee into the starting 11, assuming that is the plan! I can only guess that we're gonna go just one striker up top, either Billy, Brewster, McBurnie or Jebbo, and something has to give there, probably Jebbo going out on loan unless he does well over the next few weeks.

Way I see it

If Playing 2 off a single striker

N’daiye / Khadra / Mcatee (if he signs) / Berge (if he stays) all compete for those spots

And jebbo / billy / Brewster for the front striker.
 
I think people all forget Ndiaye had a long spell where he couldn't get game last year

I admit I haven't seen Doyle yet bit I rather suspect teams would rip through that midfield like a wet paper bag.
