Has anyone thought that maybe our ambitious snorting neighbours might be sniffing around? I understand they have more money than us and have been setting their sights high with Jason Scotland & Jason Koumas as targets. Just a thought they could try and make a move for him. He loves Sheffield he might go where more money is being offered.

I appreciate it may amount to the same thing but they don't have more money than us - it's just that their owner is more willing to spend than ours is. I can't imagine BT would join the Pigs - the Blades mean too much to him.

Our porcine neighbours have not spent a penny so far,and sold got shot of 5 players so far and cut wages of several others .

As of early ths week we've made no contact with BT, this is agents putting rumours out. It also seems that we have supporters on here and BM who know this but choose to whip up the fans.

Because it is the reverse of what he said when he left, not going anywhere and two days later he had gone, this time no foundation (in other words not coming), so by Friday he will be here! I don't think there is anything in it, and why would BT want a substantial drop in wages, we certainly will not be looking to off load Hendo, and bring someone in on similar money surely! It is the agent trying to flog him that has started this rumour.

I dont mind people trying to find things to beat McCabe up with but at least stick to the facts. It's amazing that McCabe is alleged to have told so many lies but there doesn't seem to be that many direct quotes of these lies. I am not saying he is a great chairman by the way.

24 hours is a long time in football. Look at the Tonge deal being done at the last minute. Look at Kyle Walker being recalled with moments to spare. Ask the club a couple of hours earlier (or whatever the timeframe was) and they'd have said they were going nowhere and it would have been true. There's a good chance they knew nothing about it until late in the day, but even if they did do we really expect the club to give us a minute-by-update on the contract negotiations? Be realistic the only time we'll know anything is when it's a done deal, as until then there's nothing to report.
