The lincoln city goal scoring midfielder is the sort of player we should be looking at, one of the best players in L1. Just signed a 3 year deal so probabally not cheap but has huge potential. We all know L1 players have the ability to move up the pyramid as we had plenty do it. Need to get One to tap him up

Probably talking 5mil+ for someone who's unproven, Onè looked the part for them but looked missing for us.

Think 3-4 million would get him and i think he will be at least double after a season in the championship. Compared with the usual crowd were linked with this lad looks as if he could be a good championship player

Apparently Burnley are after him

So more than we spend on any player last summer without parachute money? Unlikely then

Tanganga?

Though, I agree, don’t think we’ll spend much on fees this summer.
Yeah he might have been the one. Although turns out we "only" spent 19 million so with the numbers in he might not be that much above it

I understand Mcguinees was also over £6m. ??????

The £19.1m breaks down roughly as Tanganga £7.5m, McGuinness £4m, Zätterström £3m, Chong(y) £2.5m, Matos £1.1m, Ukaki £0.5m & Polendakov £0.5m

Believe what you like mate, it's from a very reliable source.
I heard the same, brushed it off as bullshit then someone else who's pally pals with people at the club said the same. Can't fathom it at all. Shoot whoever let the deal go ahead.

It’s in the accounts, unless your pally pal thinks we paid less than £5m for Tanganga?

Either way it’ll be frees or sell to buy this summer. There won’t be much to get excited about.

Moylan has had a good season but I’m not sold on gambles on one season wonders.

You've got to think of installments though? Cause I'm guessing they won't come through this year if we've not actually paid it yet? So Tanganga could well be 5-6mil up front then rest whenever etc.

Either way the money pumped into crap players is outstanding.

The amounts in the accounts have nothing to do with the instalments. The addition of £19.1m in intangible assets (player registrations) is significant enough to warrant a comment as a post-balance sheet event.

100%. We panicked, pure and simple.

It'll be releasing the out of contract high earners first and foremost, followed by sales. About £25m of them.

Your source obviously didnt see the below

Given we quote the cost in the accounts it makes you wonder why so many fees are 'undisclosed'. It would do the players a favour if the fees were transparent. Tanganga at 10m is day light robbery but at 6m par for the course. McGuiness at 6m is day light robbery but at 3m par for the course. And if Matos only cost 1-2m then you put that down as a low cost gamble that failed.

Although promising, he is tied to a contract until the summer of 2030 just signing it last month. Currently we don't offer the player much more than what Lincoln City can offer him next season, the only thing he will move for is much more money. The other thing to be cautious about although he has scored some goals this season in August 2025 he was out for 3 months after having ankle surgery. Do we really want to be taking a punt on another potential injury prone player?
