They've come and they've gone Sunjihi, E89 et al but if you are going shit or bust Richard Cadette has put his gender fluid sex organs on the chopping block with this one!

Madine and not Zahore

His reputation is going one way or the other.

If he’s right about Lucas Piazon I will be extremely happy !

Let's put the pitchforks down eh?

:)

If people share info in good faith and it doesn't work out, let's not see them hung drawn and quartered.

If we signed every player Wilder had an interest in or made an enquiry about we'd have a squad of 200+.

Not all deals come off.

Personally I'm interested to know who we may be in for. I don't think we need to be holding people to account if they don't work out.

I think there is enough good faith on this site that people don't just post bullshit for attention purposes.

Is Strappy still buying houses , cars and going on expensive holidays due to his and “Agent Jim’s” ITKness?

Sunjihi is the original and best.

Richard Cadette is very good although actually has got a couple wrong.. Well when I say wrong, I mean they didn't sign. There's no saying that we weren't linked with the player, Luke Freeman for example

I don't get it - people clamour for information on signings and when someone share some (you would hope in good faith) people then tear it apart.
But is it what the club wants? If people are in a position to acquire sensitive information is it acceptable to pass it on?
I enjoy the speculation, banter, stupidly long threads etc but worry that in today's market negotiations could be affected by social media.
I'm more interested in who pulls on a shirt and entertains me on satdi afternoon followed by the subsequent analysis not who betrayed a confidence.
The rise of digital media fuels the Veruca Salt in all of us (I want it and I want it now) and that desire is IMO is misused by agents and journalists to enhance their clients and readers.

You are correct in that no organisation wants leaks of sensitive information. However, unless you want to go down the route of implementing and enforcing NDAs for supporters, journalists anyone that may be party to restricted/confidential information, some leaks are inevitable, which on occasion may well play into the hands of agents, journalists etc as you suggest. However, your point really bears no relevance to this thread and my point still stands that a lot of people (including and especially on here, other forums and others social media platforms) seem desperate for information but then dispute it when it is received if it isn't the news they want to hear. Thank goodness supporters rarely have influence on what actually happens or the club would be bankrupt having spent fortunes on players Agard, Morsy, Burn, Akinde etc and players such as Clarke would be nowhere near the club.

I must admit however, the flow of information from within the club has dried-up significantly since CW took over. Every man and his dog knew what was going to happen when Clough was in charge.

Someone got slapped down for telling all and sundry in the pub. It wasn’t all team Clough. It continued under Madkins as well.

Totally agree.

Remember Neil Warnock saying transfer deals can be crazy.
He said he’s had situations where a player and agent have shook hands on a deal, then the next day he’s read that the player has joined another club. Hence Warnock said if he wants a player for 1 position then he chases 3 targets, option A, option B and option C.

My point is even if Chris Wilder himself was posting on here as an “in the know”.
Sometimes even our own manager would get it wrong.

I don't dismiss that misinformation might be thrown to the media and fans and the feeding frenzy could be a smoke screen. We've already got numerous threads and divisions on this subject. If CW wants he could squash this rumour in a few words. However, it might suit him to try and put pressure on other clubs/players to play ball with us if they think we are looking elsewhere.

Would I Lie To You?

A TV game show that gives you the truth mixed in with some lies. All told by poker-faced celbrities, that provide some entertainment.

I would guess that football clubs realising that they can't be completely covert with their dealing in the transfer market, would put out some non-truths to keep everyone guessing and add to the intrigue. Giving us 'experts' on forums such as this, the chance to debate and critique the wide range of names thrown up. Entertainment at its best.:):):)

Leaked team sheets is probably OK, but speculative transfer information that is already all over twitter could be damaging

The only time I've ever been ITK, I announced a signing on Blades United only to get a text from the player in question 5 minutes later saying "Meant to say, don't tell anyone. Club want to keep it under wraps for a few days"

Good signing as well, won his fair share of penalties for us.

Those were the days. He took (and won) an excellent penalty...

Back to this thread, I think some people might be needing a spoon for their humble pie.

Also, what was your bit of ITK info last week Bruce Wayne

I agree with all except your last sentence. Some people do post bullshit for attention purposes. Some people are desperate to be ITK, or even be the first to make up a song about a player we haven't signed yet. It's quite sad really and suggestive of being attention-starved in childhood, or some other form of abuse.

But it makes for good entertainment.
