Player of the Season 22/23. You heard it here first![]()
That's a sweeping statement on the back of what. Not inspiring me to think we shouldn't just sell him.
Maybe, but it doesn't inspire me with confidence that he isn't going to be a problem. That he isn't going to be unhappy if he doesn't start games.. If we are offered a few million, I'd just take it. We don't even know whether he'll be able to complete in the English game. Given we have no money, it seems a silly gamble if we could use the funds to invest elsewhere. That's a sweeping statement on the back of what.
He was here in .March! If he was unhappy then seems a bit strange to come back for more.
He's had a rough deal with Covid and injuries not forgetting he has bee n away from his family as well.
We are trying to create an environment that young players thrive on.
Don't beleave he has been ignored at this sensitive time for him.
Born 2000 years to the day after Jesus Christ.
This could be exactly what we need
And what do you think we will get if we sell him ?Maybe, but it doesn't inspire me with confidence that he isn't going to be a problem. That he isn't going to be unhappy if he doesn't start games.. A few million would not be peanuts in the position we're in.And what do you think we will get if we sell him ?
Peanuts,! Would be stupid to let him go at this stage
Let's see what he can bring to the team.
Really! On the back of half a season !.A few million would not be peanuts in the position we're in.
No. Beerschot aren’t his parent club. Nor is the Belgian an upwards move for an English based player. Is Jebbo a wet blanket for refusing to go to Beerschot?
Coulibaly had never even been to England before January. We don't even know if he speaks English. Not sure "Gerronweeit" is going to workNo. Beerschot aren’t his parent club. Nor is the Belgian an upwards move for an English based player.
Who’s told him to get on with it?Coulibaly had never even been to England before January. We don't even know if he speaks English. Not sure "Gerronweeit" is going to work
Personally, I don't believe he ever did sign for a middling Championship team. He was given a 3 year loan deal to the Belgian Premier League on a 3 year contractWho’s told him to get on with it?
Shouldn’t have signed for us if he didn’t want to be in England. Can’t recall him being forced into it.
Click on the link Bergen Blade sent. He speaks perfectly good English and he's two years older now and been in a mixed environment. For all number of reasons he may not settle, but I don't see struggled with the language being one of them.Coulibaly had never even been to England before January. Middling? We finished 5th last season. He signed for a Premier League side. The loan was quite clearly (a) for work permit purposes and (b) for him to get some first team experience at a decent standard.Personally, I don't believe he ever did sign for a middling Championship team. Perhaps he should give it more than a week to judge the club and take onboard the support they’ll undoubtedly be offering him. I’ve moved jobs before and hated it for the first few months, before getting to know the differences in the company culture and end up loving my time there.
Really! On the back of half a season !.
He could be a really good player but no team is going to shell out millions at this stage ,we could have potentially someone who goes on to be a big player ! So why not have a good luck at him before making any big decisions.
This changes everything. Sign him on a 5 year dealI will be booing him first game of the season
This is a first - you've actually made me laugh, and for all the right reasons!I will be booing him first game of the season
