Ismaila Coulibaly

I have no idea how football work permits work now, but would he even get another work permit if he didn't play basically all of most games for us?
He's got his tier2 work permit ,he can stop as long as his contract ,or usually 3 years .he could then extend his stay .

The plot thickens.

You must be joking its too late for the young lad

He will never be welcome in Sheffield after his remarks

I dare him to step foot in the cricketers

The club needs to get ahead of this before it continues to run and run. It’s good to hear he wants to stay but that coming out via screenshots over twitter isn’t ideal and will open him up to trolls. Do a quick little interview put it to bed and move on.
Agree not helped by the supposed ITK local journo writing an article on it. A good reason if any to cut links with Hemmingham if he's going to regurgitate half stories from Belgium. As the player says it wasn't the full interview and he's having to justify himself over twitter after only being in the country 5 minutes. Not helpful.

This is where the Communications team at SUFC need to get hold of this and kick some arse and put the record straight. Unfortunately they'll probably be prioritising the kit release video over taking journos to task.

Get a welcome to Sheffield video for him out with him doing some daft bonding exercise with Billy like they did with Sander with a 30 second interview with him at the end saying how he’s looking forward to the challenge and helping the team progress and jobs a good un.

My point was that if his contract runs out this summer, like he apparently says it does in that article, unless he becomes a regular starter it's unlikely we'd be able to extend his WP.

Don't believe everything you read .that's a good starting point

I presume the reason they haven't done anything like this yet is that there is a media blackout due to them currently still wearing last years kit for pre-season :)

You’re probably right there

Did you move countries?

Everyone not in the Premier League is a middling Championship side, just the way of the world now.

Regardless of the original circumstances of his move he sounds like he's not happy about having to leave a country he's comfortable in and (regardless of what you think of the quality) a top division team. I only really care about the value he can bring to the team, not the lad personally (although I wish hi no ill). If he doesn't want to be here, he won't be.
One of the occasions, yes I was working abroad. I wasn’t naive enough to think it’d be the same and gave it time.

How old were you when you went? And was it completely your own choice? And, were you talented enough to force your company to send you to a competitor so you could stay at home?

If you’re that interested DM me and I’ll fill you in on the details. I really can’t be arsed clogging up this thread with the petty back and forth.
