Doubt he would be an instant replacement for SB. Look at how Coubilay has taken to actually get through the door & into our squad. Surely he is one for development rather than a place in our first 11?

I like the look of Kone, definitely the type of signing that is exciting with huge potential and he's clearly got something about him if Norwich tried to buy him previously. But 'm not so sure pinning our hopes of him to replace Sander, even if not as a direct replacement. That is my main concern. I'd hope we have something else lined up, maybe a loan, if Berge is to leave. Berge leaving could literally be the difference between going up or not.

Sorry, don't watch much Bundesliga either. Sure he's great though.
I wouldn’t call Sander ‘lanky’. He’s a unit.I do watch a good bit of MLS and I am aware of him, but he doesn’t jump out at me or fill me with bags of excitement.
He’s lanky like Sander, but he doesn’t have the same steam from what I remember of him. The main asset that Sander has is his ability to turn on pace and take people on with the ball glued to his feet? I don’t see that in this lad, but I haven’t seen anywhere near enough of him.
In comparisons of play, I think The Barnsley lad has a similar level of forward drive, but he lacks the height.
Yeah I wouldn’t be surprised if this is revisited at some stageFeel a bit for Kone in this saga, not really wanted by the fans as they wanted to keep Berge. Probably excited to come to England to play football but fell through at the 11th hour. I wouldn’t be surprised if you still see him play for us in the future, we tend to keep track of these guys long term
