If you honestly think they've paid £100m for the club without the funds to try and make sure they make a return on that investment then I'm not sure what else needs to be said.

Did I say it was unusual?? I just see people throwing it around that we have money, when it's not evidence at all.

For what it's worth, I don't think we are skint, I would use the term prudent, I will be surprised if we sign any player for 5 million, I don't think that's how COH are going about things, and I'm all for it, evidence not far away what happens when you spend above your station.

The lad from Barnsley and a couple more loans to fill out the forward options would be fine so long as that means there is budget being allocated on quality defensive reinforcements which is where we really need it.
