absolutely 200% correct in every word of this post---that's the thing its so obvious...what is Tufty thinking here ....3 points there for the takingWe lack that final bit of quality and creativity in the final third and Brooks and Holmes are still both sat on the bench.
I love Wilder, but I don't understand this.
WTF... sums it up 0-0 sh@*t,
Evans has been ok not stood out (didn't he win that freekick just outside the area?) but then nobody really has, Fleck and Lundstram looked the best for me. What you are spouting is certainly not the truth, so no problems there. And finally one or two people don't like Evans for various reasons, mostly not football related. The rest of us are willing to give signings a chance and not just lay into them for having a quiet game on a terrible pitch where few people are coming out with any credit.are you watching this?? tell me what Ched Evans has done in this game that is remotely useful.... get fucked if you don't like the truth ! its not just me saying it pal, plenty on here saying the same
good point though
<ducks>![]()
He's took off the wrong player in Sharp IMO, Brooks should have been on for Evans. Sharp was playing well.
Ched Evans sums it up.
F*cking Ched Evans?!!
We have Donaldson, Brookes, Wilson all on the bench and we start with Ched Evans. A player who is probably only good enough for the top end of the conference, maybe bottom end of league 2.
No pace, is highly erratic, he hasn’t scored a goal in well over a year, hasn’t scored at championship level in 8 years.
At what point is it a good idea to start him in a must win game??
We can complain all we want about not having the resources of other clubs, but leaving better players on the bench and starting with a conference level striker is our own fault.
win the home games.. draw the away games and we're in the playoffsHad we somehow beaten Fulham then I would agree.![]()
brave. bravoI didn't think Evan's did too bad, on par with Sharp today.
I didn't think Evan's did too bad, on par with Sharp today.
I didn't think Evan's did too bad, on par with Sharp today.
One moment summed up our wrong team selection today. Lundstram with a golden chance to score and instead opts to pass to Evans who makes a complete hash of it.
Neither should have started, neither good enough.
If you were selecting a team to win a game would you pick a conference level striker over Donaldson, Wilson or Brookes?
Would you pick a striker who hasn’t scored in over 16 months?
Would you pick a striker who hasn’t scored in the championship in 8 years?
I can’t even believe we have him in our squad and are paying him a wage, let alone starting him in a game we need to win.
I’m sure Chris would rather have picked Coutts, Duffy and Clarke but he couldn’t. Brooks, Wilson and Holmes are all coming back from injury and Donaldson didn’t offer much in the last game.Lundstram lads was behind Evans, he never had chance to make a hash of it
