Fair points. I don't think Tufty has lost the dressing room or anything extreme like that, or United would not be getting good results. I heard that they don't like him, not that they hate his guts. I would imagine that Tufty won't bite his lip when he's not happy. If he doesn't hold his tongue in public, he's unlikely to do it in the confines of the dressing room. As for Carlos, his approach was completely the opposite but the players lost faith after the Huddersfield debacle. Chansiri may has well have sacked him after the shoot-out.

I just can't see the majority of players not liking him, not that it matters though.

I think they think he's hard to please and a bit aloof and maybe a bit of a twat even in season in the heat of battle, but post game, close season and stuff, outside of not really wanting to go out of your way to socialise with your boss which is fair enough, I just can't see issues.

His record would mean respect though and unless we've got some proper shitcunts in the dressing room, that's all that matters.

If this is true I’d guess at JOC as well... based on nothing concrete at all.

He seems to bollock Stevens quite often and there was that rumour of a disagreement between those two during pre season. Maybe he prefers Lafferty at LWB.

He is also probably quite pally with Duffy if they car share and Duffy seems to be in and out the team. Wilder sometimes opts for a more defensive midfield up. Duffy seems to tire too so often will play 1 a week rather than Saturday and Tuesday. He’s usually the first to be subbed too.

There was the Norwich thing with Wilder too.

He might have wanted a prem move in the summer for the mega money.

But a lost dressing room? No chance. Few might not like Wilder as he’s probably strict and speaks his mind. But the results and performances are still there.

I got chatting with one of our players today, (Let’s just say we move in the same circles) I’m not going to mention which one but I will tell you he was part of the league one winning side and is still a regular today. He clearly doesn’t like Wilder and basically told me he’s lost the dressing room and he’s out of his depth (i couldn’t believe it after 3 straight wins)

Players being benched that are clearly good enough and out of form players playing instead was the general theme of his whinge.
