Davies was in my opinion, a gamble that he could eventually get fit & keep fit, which obviously hasn't worked out! Shackleton on the other hand was never fit at Leeds!! And was a ridiculous signing! Even Leeds fans mentioned it ffs

With selling Souza and perma-crocks Davies and Shackelele now nursing their traditional season ending injuries it looks like we need to invest in central midfield. Blacker and Hampson need L1 loans I would suggest. Sasnauskas finished up in there tonight. He seems to have the size to be a CDM but has he got the passing, skill and the energy?

Davies is done. If he can't get fit between the end of one season and another then he has a serious problem with his body letting him down. His injury issues are not just while he has been with us they were a common issue for him at Everton as well.

Various coaches and fitness teams yet this lad can't get fit for more than a handful of matches.

4-6 weeks (and we all know it'll be more) is all of pre season and then some, so Davies now has the perfect excuse not to be fit all season

I like Tom Davies as both a player and a lad but his inability to stay fit with different issues has been a problem most of his senior career.

It's a huge shame because if he was fully fit for 75% of our games this season he'd be one of the best in the league. Ain't happening though.
