So that’ll most likely be after Xmas / mid January when he’s able to join the matchday squad. Devastating for the lad to be out for over 12 months. Just hope he can get back to something like his form before his injury & it doesn’t impact his future career.

Sellés was directly asked for a return date by Giddings who brought up Christmas as part of that question. His answer was that we shouldn't put a timescale on it due to the nature of the injury but reading between the lines I would guess that the aim is to get Arblaster into first team training over the next international break.

TBF to him we had to play him far more than we should have done just before Christmas when we were down to the bare bones.

I wasn't at all surprised when he was crocked again.

Should have been reintroduced slowly but due to our lack of depth he was playing every game.

Exactly this, he went from not having played to playing twice a week for 90 mins. Anyone with a modicum of sense knows u ease players back after a long time out....except SUFC

It’s quite laughable how it’s now both original first choice right backs and left backs and also the two mainstays of the central defence. Plus the one guy who could cover a few slots. You couldn’t make it up.

Got to say looking back on injuries like this it's been a massive improvement. Not sure what changed really? But double digit players missing was a joke.
