Injuries

United will know the CVS records of all the players on their books. ie their heart/fitness levels. They are multi million pound assets.
It would be interesting to know how the unvaxxed fare as against the vaccinated, as regards all clubs.
It's easy to see if any damage has been caused by natural infection or the Vaccine.(Nucleocapsids) - which would impact upon muscle injuries and subsequent recovery.
It's all about micro clots you see - interfering with the CVS. (Cardio Vascular System).
And to all you armchair experts - I have some expertise in Immunology/mRNA Genetics/Vaccinology.
Unlike your average Doctor.

It would be bonky madness to risk Bogle & Lowe in the cup.
I also doubt Berge & Ndiaye will play in case a daft offer comes in.
My trust in the Prince is somewhat shaken at the moment.

That's all well and good but do they have a TV licence and do they pay their taxes..... 😂 😂 😂

Seemed to get through Hull without any new injuries and the training video the club put out featured everybody that you'd expect.

Still no update on the nature of Baldock and Stevens injuries.

Some images have been released of Brewster and RND doing some gym work and PH has said that Clark and Fleck are 'back on the grass,' but not yet in full training.

Revised guesses below:

C Clark - mid-February 2023 (4 weeks) - hamstring strain

J Fleck - mid-February 2023 - swelling around previously broken leg (3 months)

G Baldock - late-February 2023 - unknown muscular injury (5 weeks)

E Stevens - late-February 2023 - unknown muscular injury (5 weeks)

R Brewster - March 2023 (5 months) - hamstring surgery

R Norrington-Davies - March 2023 (5 months) - hamstring surgery

J O'Connell - unlikely to return (2.5 years+) - knee

Guess at the team for Sunday's visit to Wrexham:

.............................Davies
......Basham..........Egan.......Robinson
...Bogle..............................................Lowe
............Doyle......Norwood.....Coulibaly
............................McAtee
...........................Jebbison

Subs: Foderingham, Ahmedhodzic, Berge, Osborn, Ndiaye, McBurnie, Sharp.

Not the team I'd play personally, I wouldn't let Bogle & Lowe anywhere near it given how thinly spread we are in the wing back areas.
But a guess at what PH might do... a lot of talent in the XI, but the big guns on the bench.
Good post. I think we will have to play Bogle. My team would be:

..............................Davies
......Basham..........Egan.......Robinson
...Bogle..............................................Osborn
............Doyle......Norwood.....Coulibaly
............................McAtee
...........................Jebbison

I wouldn't be risking Anel, Ndiaye or Berge in a game which is bound to be very physical and played at 100mph. Also Coulibaly has to play otherwise what's the point in having him here.

I would do this

---------------------------Davies
----Sachdev--------Bash--------Egan-----Robbo------Lowe
---------------Berge-------Doyle------Osborn
----------------------Sharp----------McAtee

subs

Wes, Bogle, Byabu Anel, Coulibaly, Norwood, Ndiaye, McBurnie, Jebbo

I think Coulibaly is a big risk to start. Could do something rash. I also think our left hand side is the weak spot. I'd not risk Bogle but unless Baldock is ready I'd rather have a right footer player there. I'd also start Sharp for his experience. Especially playing McAtee in an unfamiliar role next to him. I'd play Berge for height. They score a lot from set pieces. I would use it as an opportunity to see if Doyle and later on Berge can play the Norwood position. Give Norwood a rest.

People will call you a conspirasist... but the other day I pulled my hamstring playing 5-a-side.
Went to the GP and he really surprised me.
He looked me square in the eyes, grabbed me by the dick and whispered "this wouldn't have happened if you hadn't had the covid vaccine."
He went on to explain how since the COVID pandemic, there has been an epidemic of hamstring injuries, particularly in young vaccinated men...

Berge for height defending set pieces? Have you seen how dominant he is in those situations?

I know for a fact that wilder made all the players have covid vaccines injected straight into their hamstrings

Food for thought

A hamstring ticking time bomb, if you will...
The sceptic in me thinks Wilder knew he would be leaving and set a boobie trap for the next man.
This is his legacy.

So covid wasn't just a multi government conspiracy then
Chris wilder was in on it too

Must have been some zoom meeting

Deep down, I think we always knew he was in on it. It seemed to impact him more than others too.
He was carrying a burden of guilt. He'd woven himself into a web of lies.
Resignation was the only appropriate next step.

It's just a shame we have to live with the consequences.
Baldock & Stevens last week. Who next Wilder? How many men have to strain their hamstrings before it's enough..
And when will the public realise this is all vaccine related?

Humility not high on your list of attributes !

What doctor was it, just asking for a friend

What has amazed me about all the injuries are how long they are all taking to get better. We don't seem to have one or two matches absences now - more likely two to three months. How on earth players managed on the old mudbaths of pitches with old leather boots and heavy leather balls without tearing muscles all the time I don't know. The game is much faster now but the tackling is less severe than it was back in the day. Perhaps the Thursday night team bonding and beer in Josephines used to act in a positive manner for muscle problems.

You keep saying everyday that middlesborough are signing archer and barlaser
What are they waiting for ? The windows open

Just FYI (see tweets).
Took longer than expected.
Two very good signings.

As per other posts, the only team I see as a remaining threat are Middlesbrough.
I think they'll go on a Forest-like run of 2+ points / game.
Still won't be enough if we can achieve the form of an upper mid-table side.

Just to suit your agenda, I know which team you will be supporting on Feb 15th

Bogle and Lowe play. If it was 2 games a week and affected their recovery I would understand the argument. But they have 5 mor months of the seaso , they can get injured at any time. The idea they can't play a game of football because they might get injured, we might as well just give up.

5 more months ?

Jonathan Pearce (Mr reliability) said Ndiaye was being rested today due to a toe injury. Is that just bollocks?

Hopefully McAtee's is just a sore one. I'd be surprised and disappointed if it were any more considering he played on for another 44 mins.
