I do worry about the defensive side of McAtee's game. He's improving with every game though.

I think Berge was terrible at the weekend but has played another 60 minutes in midweek so hopefully almost ready. I think he might choose him for his height with McBurnie unlikely to start.
...and heading ability ?

Looking back at those Warnock years it honestly looks like we have no tactics at all

My favourite Warnock tactic was a toss up between pass it to Ndlovu's head and the Two striker switch.

Maybe so but I went to that game and we probably should have been 2 up before half time. Once Barry scored I thought here we go, we won't win this now but typical of a Warnock team we kept going.

Mind you we got very lucky on the second goal as that was offside. I thought it was offside at the time and I think Liddell did as well. 😄

I rate Lowe. Just think RND offers more. RND leads, competes, is aggressive, great engine. I've really rated him this season.

I’d have Lowe in place of Clarke. Robinson before Clarke. Although I have been known to be wrong. Second half Robinson destroyed Burnley

I think Ciaran Clark is going to be one of our best players. Been really impressed by him every time he's played. Big, strong, mobile, decent on the ball and seems to lead the backline when he's on the pitch.

I hope Anel is fully over his glandular fever, he doesn't seem to have the energy he had earlier in the season.
Me too, I’m really surprised he’s come back so soon from it from the bits I know about it, it can keep you out for months and months, especially if brought back too soon.

Doesn't look the same player atm, either physically or bodily compared to autumn, however what a block tackle in the last ten minutes. We love Anel

Yes it was a brilliant block tackle, I will add though that the only reason he could make it is because he pulled their lad back, a foul anywhere else on the pitch, it seems that he’s almost having to do things last ditch all the time at the moment, that’s not him, he’s usually a step in front.

Yes agreed. Will give Anel the benefit had he played his man offside to begin with? In my language he looks very pale and still coughing, certainly not 100%

What is Ben Osborn's injury?

He felt his hamstring a little bit. He has got through massive, massive workload against Huddersfield. He trained the next day and was just feeling it.

Before the break when we had no bodies, he could have been one of those that we had taken a gamble on playing but we don't have to do that now. It is a case of getting him back 100 per cent fit and there was no need to take a risk.

And instead we absolutely flogged Berge through however many minutes last night. Him and McAtee looked really tired. I also doubt Billy Sharp can sustain the amount of minutes he is currently getting too. From not playing at all to playing most of the games (midweek and weekend at 37). It's bizarre and weird why Hecky does this. Isn't it just basic sports science? Maybe just a coincidence but our conditioning and fitness also seems to have got worse since the new fitness coach arrived from Preston.

First game back was on a Saturday. Then we had 9 games until this one and then have 7 until the next?

It's bizarre and weird how our manager is playing our only fit striker?

And of course Hecky doesnt have a track record of over-playing the said aging player, does he?! He's done it twice in his fledgling managerial career already - last season he played Sharp almost every minute in the final half of the season until he got injured and then he kept him on playing injured against Boro this season.

Hecky really needs to sign a striker and midfielder this window, or use his current squad better, and be a bit more pro-active in his sub-making.

Apart from playing the percentages, we didn't

Midweek and weekend ? We have played two games a week apart and the next one is another week away.
When we do have two games a week then we can rotate.

Team news any fresh problems?

No, as we were. We want players who are carrying to get fitter and fitter but nothing from last game

Other bodies on way back?

Robbo is back fit, Rhian and Rhys have had surgery so are going to be the longer terms. Ismael is back training now so we will see how he reacts with his knee and Ossie getting better week by week. Flecky recovering after the crack in his leg we are closer to getting everyone back fit

Timescales on Brewster and RND?

I don't ask. They are fit when they are fit they are not forgotten about but some come back earlier some have setbacks you are always led on the players you just wait until they are on the grass
