I think it's fair to say that this squad of players just don't know when they are beaten.

They have shown incredible mental strength to come back from crushing results such as villa away, Millwall at home and Bristol City (amongst others)

Are there any comparable Sheffield United teams of the past?

Am I being tootoo gener when I say the only team I can compare them (mental stregnth wise) to would be the Man Utd squad from the mid to late 90s.

You have to look at the number of big crunch games under Wilder and say we've performed in the majority of them. There was a week in League One where we played Scunthorpe and Bolton back-to-back and I had in mind that that was the point where most United teams would bottle it and end up chasing their losses. This season, Norwich away, turn up and take a point, WBA away for 3 points, Leeds away for another win, Brentford at home with 10 men. Even seeing Villa as throwing away points we still went to a very good team and put three past them.

Yeah, I felt low after the Bristol and Millwall games, overall we're a team that rises to the challenge. I don't expect them to win them all, but you can't say that by and large we haven't turned up when it matters.
