I think it’s hard for any football club to make a profit…Simple question. Do you think United will make a profit this year if we finish let’s say mid table?
IMO yes… you could have said calm down … or similar… any how back to the footy…Is it really though? I don't think it is.
And depending on where you ramble , you can see the debris from a plane-crash - mind you , there's one happening at the Lane right now , metaphorically speaking.Nothing better on the right day, and with the right pub in mind for lunch.
We should have got that Chong , he's a ballerSome people are not going to make prem squad 25s so someone on the edge of a squad will just miss out and become available. Rather than those who have already been shipped out like Chong for example.
That "big pot of money" received for Ramsdale went 60% of the way to filling the big hole left by relegation. Our income in 19/20 was £130m. In 21/22 it'll be around half of that. Some is clawed back through relegation wage reduction clauses (say £25m) but we still need to find the rest.
‘Calm your tits’ - one of the most sexist comments ever made … but you do you that’s all anyone can expect from you.
Are you free on Friday night?Men have tits too, at least I do anyway.
My daughter in law and all her female work colleagues use it all the time. Is it sexist only if a man says it? Not picking a fight just curiousIMO yes… you could have said calm down … or similar… any how back to the footy…

Parachute payments are designed to soften the blow of £100m+ in TV money suddenly becoming £7m.Surely that's what parachute payments help to cover? How have every other club who have been relegated still gone on to sign players the following year (without a £24m boost via a sale as well)? We're not asking to be spending millions, but surely the club can afford a few loans.
So what money is he syphoning off? If he wanted to make a quick profit he would have sold it the second he bought the 50% off McCabe.I think it’s hard for any football club to make a profit…
the danger we have is not finishing mid-table and taking a double drop.
I hope to be proven drastically wrong
That's simply not true. Every club have had significant sales to prop up their losses, and it's worth noting none of them had a season with no crowd revenue the previous season to deal with as well.Surely that's what parachute payments help to cover? ...but how do you calm them and why do they need calming ?Men have tits too, at least I do anyway.

It's not though is it. And if that's all you took from my post then it further reinforced the point I was making - you're over reacting and coming up with nonsense for no reason at all.‘Calm your tits’ - one of the most sexist comments ever made … but you do you that’s all anyone can expect from you.
Never been but its almost in my neck of the woods. I'll add it to the post lockdown list.Big fan of the Packhorse at Little Longstone

I'm sure the pubs in dore would agreeWe don’t deserve SJ as our our manager, we deserve Bryan Robson.
Ok - but our manger also sounds quite alarmed today - is he overreacting? It's not though is it. And if that's all you took from my post then it further reinforced the point I was making - you're over reacting and coming up with nonsense for no reason at all.
We will see in the end.. hope I’m wrong … but I see minimal investment over last 12 monthsSo what money is he syphoning off? If he wanted to make a quick profit he would have sold it the second he bought the 50% off McCabe.
Every club has to be run within its owners means otherwise you end up like that shower of shit down the road.
Recruitment has been awful this window with the lack of incomings which is ultimately the princes fault but to say he’s syphoning money out of the club is way off the mark.
I wouldn’t know - but it’s a sexist remark - that as far as I’m concerned makes women out to be somehow panicky when compared to men - you think what you like it’s a free worldMy daughter in law and all her female work colleagues use it all the time. I’m not judging your views mate nor necessarily disagreeing I’m just confused when stuff like this is ok and when not. I don’t use the phrase myself but given the only people I’ve ever heard use it have been women to other women I’m not sure who is being offended by it.I wouldn’t know - but it’s a sexist remark - that as far as I’m concerned makes women out to be somehow panicky when compared to men - you think what you like it’s a free world
