To fail to get a competent keeper in before Tuesday would be negligent, beyond incompetence. It will signal the end of any credibility the current regime have with the supporters. It may lead to the manager walking and will almost certainly consign us to a relegation battle.

I don't think it will be happy end to the window but similarly I don't think Andy Giddings has too much insight into what is happening.

Our manager isn't spouting nonsense about money being taken out the club. He is, however, showing his frustration about how things are taking longer than expected. All that is more than likely down to a combination of players not wanting to come, selling/patent clubs dragging their feet (squad registration window still open), loan fees too high or being priced out of moves. But hey ho, go with the wild conspiracy theories.

There’s more than one way to take money from a business that look legitimate (and are on paper)
