Alan Biggs latest load of bollox,
the guy knows nothing yet claims to have inside information.

“Hearing there is truth in reports that Iliman Ndiaye has turned down a move to Everton. More revealing is it shows #SUFC were prepared to trade (£20m + reported). And concerning in that it suggests a desperation to get money in to clear transfer embargo.”
He's either desperately uninformed about how transfers work in modern day football, or he's just sensationalising to get clicks. For example, Anthony Gordon agreed terms with Newcastle days ago, only today has a bid been accepted. Don't feed the troll!

He's very much a Sean Dyche kind of player. He likes his skilful attacking midfielders and loves a good workrate. There's every chance that team stays up.

Maybe he should use his source to find out who the new owners are

He has no Inside line with anything at bdtbl, especially since he backed Wilder against the Prince.
has no contacts with agents and Seems to put anything out there which is critical of SUFC

Biggs is a bellend....How can Illi turn down a move if a bid hasn't been made...prick

Doesn't it concern anyone else United would accept 20 million and ruin the chance of promotion and more importantly the new buyer surely would say don't sell as he is getting less assets for the money paid
The Star article doesn't say the bid was accepted by United but then again it's not the Star who broke the story so who knows. Then there's Alan Biggs saying that we were prepared to negotiate or were willing to but just because the player rejected to move doesn't move we accepted a bid; as others have said it could well have all been done through an agent direct to Iliman's agent etc, although that's not technically allowed I believe but saying that I think it's standard practice.

Who knows at the end of the day.

Doesn't quite work like that I don't think. His agent can speak to Everton, or Everton's intermediary's, any time they want. They can sound him out for personal terms/interest before agreeing a fee with United.

I imagine it's something like this:

Everton come to us and say they're interested and are willing to start the bidding at 20 million. Is that close enough to our valuation for us to let them start talking to the player?

We say yes.

Iliman's representatives meeting with Everton, hear what they have to say, and the player decides he'd rather stay.

We didn't accept the 20 million and a formal offer was never made. But we did signal that 20 million was in the general ballpark of what we would accept.

I'm so unbelievably confused

Imo the only thing it shows is that the player is prepared to turn down the move should any bid for him be made. Illie saying that certainly doesn't make me assume that it must mean that United are prepared to entertain any bid should one come in. Dont half talk some shite does old Alan, ffs 🙄

What's mad is this was leaked by a journalist in France and now all of a sudden the local journos are reporting it. Surely it should be the other way round!
Depends who is agent is I guess. According to transfermarket it's this lot based in France

Deane and Fjortoft on hulk style steroids if him and Berge go.

Luckily Yasser Arafat’s nephew, Ice Cube, Michael Dell and Maltese Del Boy are taking us over.

It's a shame Saddam Hussein's lads died. Big into their football. A bit old school with the punishments for poor performance mind you.

The Alan Partridge roadshow is one thing.

I'd say if his representatives are actively seeking a move, then it's a worry. Especially if we need to raise money. I'm pretty sure if a player knows we'll sell him and his reps are pushing him then he's much more likely to go.

But who knows. There's so much flying around at the moment, it's impossible to know what to believe.

Off you fuck Everton

I'm so unbelievably confused

As usual it’s a non story.

He says it shows the club is prepared to negotiate a sale of the money is right. No shit Sherlock. Doesn’t that rule apply to virtually every player and every club. For example if anyone offers stupid money for Harry Kane and Son then both will be sold.

Also hearing N”Diaye says he’s not interested in a move means nothing. It just means he’s happy which again is what you’d expect. However if Everton offered us £35 mill plus extras and N”Diaye was offered £100K a week then surely he’s going.

However thankfully for us, outside Sheff Utd think he’s just rated as potential having not really played in the PL, so can’t see there being any massive tempting offer.
